FULL SHIFT. No full-time employee shall be paid for less than a full shift when beginning work at his/her scheduled reporting time except when disciplined for cause or excused at the employee’s own request.

Where appointments cannot be scheduled during nonworking hours, employees whenever possible will be given time off during regular working hours under the provision that the time will be made up at a time acceptable to the employee and the employer or wages deducted for the time absent.
