LATA definition

LATA has the meaning given to the term in the Act.
LATA means a contiguous geographic area: (a) established before the date of enactment of the Act by a Xxxx operating company such that no Exchange Area includes points within more than one (1) metropolitan statistical area, consolidated metropolitan statistical area, or State, except as expressly permitted under the AT&T Consent Decree; or (b) established or modified by a Xxxx operating company after such date of enactment and approved by the FCC.

  • AT&T-21STATE’s network architecture in any given local Exchange Area and/or LATA can vary markedly from another local Exchange Area/LATA.

  • Based upon the foregoing, the Parties agree that AT&T-21STATE’s originating traffic will be delivered to OE-LEC’s existing POI arrangements in the LATA where the traffic originates in accordance with the POI requirements set forth in this Agreement.
