Launch Service definition

Launch Service means those services, including the Launch, described in the SOW for a distinct mission to be performed by SpaceX under this Agreement.
Launch Service means a power boat company that transports passengers or freight between the shore and vessels on a body of water in the State.
Launch Service and “Launch Services” shall have the meanings set forth in Section 2.1.

Examples of Launch Service in a sentence

  • The Selection Recommendation Committee may take into account a variety of programmatic factors in deciding whether or not to select Proposals, including, but not limited to, available launches, Launch Service requirements waiver requests, and maintaining a programmatic and scientific balance across the sponsoring organizations.

  • The Adjustment Fee shall be amortized equally among the remaining Milestone Payments for the applicable Launch Service.

  • With respect to any Launch Service terminated by Customer, Customer shall have no further obligation or liability to SpaceX for such Launch Service.

  • Beginning [***…***] 2013, and every [***…***] thereafter until the relevant Launch, for each Launch Service, each Party shall certify (in writing) to the other if production of the Launch Vehicle or Satellite Batch (as applicable) is on schedule for the relevant Launch Date or not.

  • If Customer does not provide a notice of termination to Contractor within sixty (60) days of postponement or notice of postponement by Contractor, Customer waives its right to terminate the postponed Launch Service under this Paragraph 21.2 unless Contractor further postpones the Launch Service under Article 7.

  • With respect to any Launch Service terminated by Customer, Customer shall have no further obligation or liability to Contractor for such Launch Service.

  • If SpaceX causes or requests any delay or postponement to the Launch Date (other than an Excusable Delay), Customer’s payment obligations as established in Section 5.1 for the relevant Launch Service shall be suspended on a day-for-day basis commensurate with the period of delay or postponement of the relevant Launch Service requested by SpaceX.

  • In the event that Customer exercises its right of termination pursuant to this Section 17.1, Contractor will be entitled to retain the amount specified in Table 17-1 below as of the date of such termination(s) of an applicable Launch Service.

  • Following such termination, Customer shall have no further obligation or liability to SpaceX for such first Launch Service, and SpaceX shall have no further obligation or liability to Customer for such first Launch Service, and SpaceX’s obligation with respect to the remaining Launch Service shall be limited to launching a Satellite Batch consisting of no more than [***…***] with [***…***].

Launch Service means the design, development, integration, testing, and launch of a launch vehicle and associated support systems and services necessary to place a spacecraft or payloads into orbit or on a trajectory to a desired destination;
Launch Service means those services to be provided by Contractor to Customer for a single Launch as set forth in Exhibit A entitled "Statement of Work."

Related to Launch Service

  • Launch means the intentional ignition of the first-stage motor(s) of the Launch Vehicle intended to place or try to place a Launch Vehicle (which may or may not include any Transfer Vehicle, Payload or crew) from Earth:

  • Launch Vehicle means an object, or any part thereof, intended for launch, launched from Earth, or returning to Earth which carries Payloads or persons, or both.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Launch Date has the meaning specified therefor in Section 2.02(b) of this Agreement.

  • scheduled service means the City Representative has notified the Contractor to perform services ten (10) working days prior to commencement of work by Contractor.

  • payment initiation service means a service to initiate a payment order at the request of the payment service user with respect to a payment account held at another payment service provider;

  • Service Outage means an instance when the Customer is unable to route traffic to one or more Customer Sites via the Network, which results in Service Downtime;

  • Scheduled Maintenance means any adjustment, repair, removal, disassembly, cleaning, or replacement of components or systems required by the manufacturer which is performed on a periodic basis to prevent part failure or equipment or engine malfunction, or anticipated as necessary to correct an overt indication of malfunction or failure for which periodic maintenance is not appropriate.

  • Scheduled Downtime has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2.

  • Spacecraft (9) means active and passive satellites and space probes.

  • Firm Service means from published tariffs and/or contracts under which Seller is expressly obligated to deliver specific volumes within a given time period and which anticipates no interruptions but which may permit unexpected interruption in case the supply to higher priority customers is threatened.

  • Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;

  • Paging service means a telecommunications service that provides transmission of coded radio signals for the purpose of activating specific pagers, which may include messages or sounds.

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • In-service means an educational program, which is designed to increase the knowledge, skills, and overall effectiveness of personnel.

  • Premium Service means programming choices (such as movie Channels, pay-per-view programs, or video on demand) offered to Subscribers on a per-Channel, per-program or per- event basis.

  • Basic Service As defined in M.G.L. c. 164, § 1 and in orders of the Department, as amended or promulgated, as the case may be, from time to time. Business Day – Any day between the period of 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Prevailing Time, except Saturday, Sunday and any day which is a legal holiday or a day on which federal banking institutions in Boston, Massachusetts are authorized by law to close. Change in Law – As used herein, means any of the following:

  • Network Service means a Service provided by means of the Network.

  • Licensed Service means a service provided using Licensed Products or Licensed Methods, including, without limitation, any such service provided in the form of contract research or other research performed by Licensee on behalf of a third party.

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that is capable of measuring electricity fed into the grid or electricity consumed from the grid, providing more information than a conventional meter, and that is capable of transmitting and receiving data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • Basic generation service or "BGS" means electric generation

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.

  • Service Drop means a cable that, by its design, capacity and relationship to other cables of the Company, can be reasonably considered to be for the sole purpose of connecting backbone of the Equipment to not more than one individual customer or building point of presence or property;

  • Smart Meter means a meter which tells us how much Energy you are using without us having to visit your home and which enables you to see how much Energy you are using;

  • Programme of work means the Programme of work submitted by the contractor and approved by the Engineer-in-charge and includes an amendment thereto made from time to time and approved by the Engineer-in-charge;

  • CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;
