Service Outage definition

Service Outage means an instance when the Customer is unable to route traffic to one or more Customer Sites via the Network, which results in Service Downtime;
Service Outage or “outage” shall mean a loss or substantial impairment in reception on all channels.
Service Outage means an unscheduled disruption/failure in any Service offered by Service Provider as per this Agreement, due to which Customer’s server is un-accessible to Customer. The outage of Services due to, but not limited to the following shall be a Service Outage. Customer is unable to transmit to or receive information from his network equipment because Service Provider failed to provide facility services to its network equipment including, switch, router, firewall etc. Failure of Services like Internet connectivity, IDC LAN etc. shall also be treated as Service Outage.

Examples of Service Outage in a sentence

  • A Service Outage caused by scheduled maintenance or by upgrades made to Syringa Networks’ Network.

  • Conterra shall notify Customer in writing no less than ten (10) days prior to any scheduled Service Outage.

  • The total outage time of the Service Outage is the difference between its start and end times, less any delay time resulting from Syringa Networks' inability to access Customer or End User Premises.

  • If Service is unavailable (other than as a result of a planned Service Outage) Customer is entitled to receive a credit for the prorated monthly recurring charge of the affected Service.

  • Customer’s sole remedy for any failure of Service is the right to receive Service Outage credits due under this Agreement as set forth in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
