Service Outage definition

Service Outage means an instance when the Customer is unable to route traffic to one or more Customer Sites via the Network, which results in Service Downtime;
Service Outage or “outage” shall mean a loss or substantial impairment in reception on all channels.
Service Outage means an unscheduled disruption/failure in any Service offered by Service Provider as per this Agreement, due to which Customer’s server is un-accessible to Customer. The outage of Services due to, but not limited to the following shall be a Service Outage. Customer is unable to transmit to or receive information from his network equipment because Service Provider failed to provide facility services to its network equipment including, switch, router, firewall etc. Failure of Services like Internet connectivity, IDC LAN etc. shall also be treated as Service Outage.

  • A Service Outage is measured from the time when ONE Burbank opens a trouble ticket upon receiving a Customer report of a Service Outage to ONE Burbank or upon receiving a service affecting alarm until the time that the Service has been restored and the trouble ticket has been closed.

  • Elevate Operations will investigate any reported Service Outage and assign a trouble ticket number.

  • Frontier will maintain a point-of-contact for Customer to report a Service Outage, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.

  • Once Elevate verifies a Service Outage, it will make every reasonable effort to restore Service within four hours.
