Service Outage definition

Service Outage means an instance when the Customer is unable to route traffic to one or more Customer Sites via the Network, which results in Service Downtime;
Service Outage or “outage” shall mean a loss or substantial impairment in reception on all channels.
Service Outage means an unscheduled disruption/failure in any Service offered by Service Provider as per this Agreement, due to which Customer’s server is un-accessible to Customer. The outage of Services due to, but not limited to the following shall be a Service Outage. Customer is unable to transmit to or receive information from his network equipment because Service Provider failed to provide facility services to its network equipment including, switch, router, firewall etc. Failure of Services like Internet connectivity, IDC LAN etc. shall also be treated as Service Outage.

Examples of Service Outage in a sentence

  • Service Outage - is defined as the situation when a Customer instance is not available to the wider Internet or where the Customer instance is unable to be restarted by EO within the 'Time to Repair' (TTR) window.

  • If the 'Availability' of an instance is not restored within this window, then a 'Service Outage' event is deemed to have occurred.

  • Eligible Service Credit Period - a single calendar month in which the 'Service Outage' occurred or the SLA commitment regarding MSP Services was not met.
