Replacement Employee means an employee specifically engaged to replace an employee proceeding on parental leave.
Contract employee means an employee performing services under a PEO services contract or temporary help services contract.
Management Employee means an employee having responsibility for formulating, administering or managing the implementation of District policies and programs.
Permanent Employee means an employee who has successfully completed probationary period on initial appointment.
U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.
Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.
Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.
Student Employee means a student who is paid by the District, and may include students participating in a work study program or who receive stipends while they are acting within the scope of their employment at the District at the time the intellectual property was created.
Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).
Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.
Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).
Current Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 7.8(a).
Relevant Employee means the Previous Contractor Employees, the Previous Contractor Third Party Employees and Previous Contractor Sub-contractor Employees;
Owner-Employee means a Self-Employed Individual who is a partner and owns more than 10% of either the capital or profits interest of the partnership.
Affected employee means an employee who would be affected by the grant or denial of a variance, or any one of the employee’s authorized representatives, such as the collective bargaining agent.
Client employer means an Employer that is involved in a Tri-Party Employment Relationship due to obtaining the services of a third-party entity.
Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.
Business Employee means any individual employed by Seller in or in connection with the Business.
Auxiliary Employee meaning an employee who is employed for work which is not of a continuous nature such as:
1. seasonal positions;
2. positions created to carry out special projects or work which is not continuous;
3. temporary positions created to cover employees on vacation, short term disability leave, education leave, compassionate leave, or other leave;
4. temporary positions created by special programs such as the summer student employment program, winter works programs for the unemployed, emergencies such as floods or other special temporary programs;
Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.
Company Employee means an employee of the Company or an employee of a Subsidiary of the Company, if any.
Substitute employee is a person hired to perform the duties of a position in the temporary absence of the employee who is regularly assigned to that position.
Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).
Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.
Inactive Employee means an employee who is not actively at work due to approved leave of absence, short-term disability leave or military leave.
Restricted Employee means any person who was a director, employee or consultant of the Company at any time within the Relevant Period who by reason of that position and in particular his seniority and expertise or knowledge of Confidential Information or knowledge of or influence over the clients, customers or contacts of the Company is likely to cause damage to the Company if he were to leave the employment of the Company and become employed by a competitor of the Company;
