LEOFF Plan 1 elected official definition

LEOFF Plan 1 elected official means a LEOFF Plan 1 member who is a civil service employee on leave of absence because he or she has been elected or appointed to an elective public office and who chooses to preserve retirement rights as an active LEOFF member under the procedure described in this chapter.

  • Elected official means any person elected at a general or

  • Parent Benefit Plan means an Employee Benefit Plan sponsored, maintained, or contributed to (or required to be contributed to) by Parent or any of its Subsidiaries, or under or with respect to which Parent or any of its Subsidiaries has any current or contingent liability or obligation.

  • Stock Purchase Plan means the employee stock purchase plan to be established by Water Pik pursuant to Section 2.2.

  • Profit Sharing Plan means a profit-sharing plan that is qualified pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 401 of the Internal Revenue Code and subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and which provides for employer contributions in the form of cash, but not in the form of stock or other equity interests in a Medical Marijuana Business.

  • Retirement Savings Plan means the Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Retirement Savings Plan, as amended from time to time, together with any similar, succeeding or substitute plan.

  • Campaign for elective office means any activity in furtherance of an effort to influence the selection, nomination, election, or appointment of any individual to any federal, State, or local public office or office in a political organization, or the selection, nomination, or election of Presidential or Vice-Presidential electors, but does not include activities (i) relating to the support or opposition of any executive, legislative, or administrative action, (ii) relating to collective bargaining, or (iii) that are otherwise in furtherance of the person's official duties.

  • Certified Plan means all the terms and benefits (including any Supplement(s)) that form an insurance plan certified by the Government to be compliant with the requirements of the VHIS. This Certified Plan comprises these Terms and Conditions and the Benefit Schedule and the followings –

  • Non-U.S. Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(a).

  • Automatic Investment Plan/Dividend Reinvestment Plan means a program in which regular purchases or sales are made automatically in or from investment accounts in accordance with a predetermined schedule and allocation, including dividend reinvestment plans.
