Library Series definition

Library Series means a Television Series that is not a Current Series or a Non- Returning Series which Licensor makes available for license hereunder, with an Availability Date that is at least three (3) years following the last season of production.
Library Series means all seasons of a Television Series exhibited in the United States in whole or in part by means of Free Broadcast Television or a Basic Television Service (a) which has not had an episode premiere in the United States in such media in the thirty-six (36) months preceding its Availability Date and (b) for which Licensor unilaterally controls without restriction all Necessary Rights.
Library Series means a Television Series (other than a Local Series) for which Licensor unilaterally controls without restriction all Necessary Rights which Licensor makes available for license hereunder, including all broadcast seasons thereof, with an Availability Date that is at least 3 years following the last season of production, which Licensor shall designate as Tier A, Tier B or Tier C.

  • If we add currents or indeed House of Cards, we will need to add something back in here.] Availability Lists for Library Features, Current Series, Non-Returning Series and Library Series shall include at least one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the volume obligations set forth above of same, from which Licensee may select, and shall be of comparable type and quality to the titles made available by Licensor for Avail Year 1 (e.g., box office receipts, age, genre, etc.).

  • Licensee shall license from Licensor as SVOD Included Programs hereunder in each VOD/SVOD Avail Year: (a) 125 Library Films (of which there shall be a minimum of 10 in Tier A, 45 in Tier B and 45 in Tier C), (b) 200 Library Series Television Episodes, (c) 45 Early Window Films (of which there shall be a minimum of 15 DTVs, MFTs, and/or Foreign Films), (d) 100 Current Series Television Episodes, (e) 100 Non-Returning Series Television Episodes, and (f) 150 Local Series Television Episodes.

  • The Employer will assign the duties described for the classifications of Library Assistant, Library Specialist, and Senior Library Specialist to employees in the appropriate Library Series classification.

  • For each subsequent VOD/SVOD Avail Year, Licensee shall select Library Series Television Episodes that fall into comparable or similar Tiers as those into which the Library Series Television Episodes listed in Exhibit G-1 fall.

  • Licensee’s selection of Library Series Television Episodes to be licensed for VOD/SVOD Avail Year 1 under this subclause (c) is attached hereto as Exhibit G-1.

  • The SVOD Enhancement Window for each Library Series (to the extent such Library Series is clear for exhibition on the SVOD Enhancement Licensed Services, and subject to any title-specific applicable terms, e.g. a cap on episode-stack), shall be determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Licensor acknowledges and agrees that such Library Series are not already under license to one or more Free Broadcast Television services, Basic Television Services or Subscription Pay Television Services in the Territory as of their Availability Date, and are therefore subject to the applicable exclusivity/holdbacks set forth in Section 4.6 above.

  • In no event shall there be any restrictions on Licensor’s right to exploit (a) any Library Series that is already under license to one or more Free Broadcast Television services, Basic Television Services or Subscription Pay Television Services in the Territory as of its Availability Date hereunder, (b) any Library Series that is licensed hereunder solely for exhibition on an SVOD Standalone basis (i.e., not for exhibition on the Basic TV Service(s)) or (c) any of the Library Films.

  • The parties acknowledge and agree that, as of the execution of this Agreement, in partial satisfaction of the Year 1 Commitment, the Library Programs include the Library Series “The Jeffersons” seasons 1-3 and “Married With Children” seasons 1-4, which have aggregate per-title license fees of CDN$493,500.

  • The Availability Date for all episodes thereof shall be January 1, 2013, and the applicable column of Schedule I (i.e., for determining the License Period, and Playdates and rights) is “Basic TV Only (3yrs, 15 playdates).” For the avoidance of doubt, Licensee shall not exhibit such Library Series on the SVOD Standalone Licensed Service (unless the parties subsequently agree otherwise and Licensee pays the applicable additional license fees).


More Definitions of Library Series

Library Series shall have the meaning set forth for such term in Exhibit A hereto.
Library Series means a single series of Television Episodes which Licensor makes available for license hereunder (other than a Spanish/Portuguese Series, a Spanish/Portuguese Teleseries and a Spanish/Portuguese Telenovela), including all broadcast seasons thereof, with an Avail Date that is at least 3 years following the last season of production, which series may be designated Tier A, Tier B or Tier C.

Related to Library Series

  • Series or “Series of Securities” means each series of debentures, notes or other debt instruments of the Company created pursuant to Sections 2.1 and 2.2 hereof.

  • Extension Series means all Extended Term Loans or Extended Revolving Credit Commitments (as applicable) that are established pursuant to the same Extension Agreement (or any subsequent Extension Agreement to the extent such Extension Agreement expressly provides that the Extended Term Loans or Extended Revolving Credit Commitments, as applicable, provided for therein are intended to be a part of any previously established Extension Series) and that provide for the same interest margins, extension fees, if any, and amortization schedule.

  • Outstanding Parity Bonds means the Outstanding Series 2010B Bonds, Series 2011A Bonds, Series 2012A Bonds, Series 2014 Bonds, Series 2015 Bonds, Series 2016 Bonds, Series 2017 Bonds, and Series 2019A Bonds.
