Examples of License Appeal Committee in a sentence
In the event that OIPTT, acting on behalf of the University, and Sponsor are unable to agree, after good faith negotiations, within the applicable period described in the foregoing Sections 8.4 of this Agreement upon the terms and conditions of a license, Sponsor may request that that the matter be reviewed by the License Appeal Committee.
The written decision of the License Appeal Committee may include, if appropriate, a description of the appropriate terms and conditions to be included in a license agreement, but the License Appeal Committee shall have no authority to require than any license alter, amend or vary from the terms of this Agreement or from the University’s established written policies with respect to management and ownership of University intellectual property.
The License Appeal Committee shall consider the matter, using informal procedures deemed appropriate by its members and issue a written decision to the University and Sponsor no later than thirty (30) days after the matter is submitted to it.
The decision of the License Appeal Committee with respect to any such matter shall be final and binding.
