Long-term contract means a contract with a duration period exceeding one year;
Contract employee means an employee performing services under a PEO services contract or temporary help services contract.
Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.
Auxiliary Employee meaning an employee who is employed for work which is not of a continuous nature such as: 1. seasonal positions; 2. positions created to carry out special projects or work which is not continuous; 3. temporary positions created to cover employees on vacation, short term disability leave, education leave, compassionate leave, or other leave; 4. temporary positions created by special programs such as the summer student employment program, winter works programs for the unemployed, emergencies such as floods or other special temporary programs;
Relevant Employees means the employees who may be affected by a change referred to in subclause (1).
Replacement Employee means an employee specifically engaged to replace an employee proceeding on parental leave.
Student Employee means a student who is paid by the District, and may include students participating in a work study program or who receive stipends while they are acting within the scope of their employment at the District at the time the intellectual property was created.
Client employer means an Employer that is involved in a Tri-Party Employment Relationship due to obtaining the services of a third-party entity.
Fixed term employee means a person engaged for a specified term or for the duration of a specified task in accordance with section 37(3)(b) of the State Service Act 2000.
relevant employer means any company incorporated or registered under the Companies Act (Cap. 50) or any person registered under the Business Names Registration Act 2014;
Company Employee means an employee of the Company or an employee of a Subsidiary of the Company, if any.
Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.
Relevant Employee means the Previous Contractor Employees, the Previous Contractor Third Party Employees and Previous Contractor Sub-contractor Employees;
U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.
Management Employee means an employee having responsibility for formulating, administering or managing the implementation of District policies and programs.
Permanent Employee means an employee who has successfully completed probationary period on initial appointment.
Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.
Business Employee means any individual employed by Seller in or in connection with the Business.
Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:
Current Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 7.8(a).
Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).
Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.
Current Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.6(a).
Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).
Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.
Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.
