*Longevity Steps definition

*Longevity Steps. The schedule is based on the employee's total years of working experience with the Employer in a secretarial/clerical/office assistant position. Employees having a hire date falling between July 1 and January 31 shall be granted a full year of experience for purposes of longevity pay as of July 1. Employees having a hire date falling between February 1 and June 30 shall not receive credit for the fractional part of a year. Extended unpaid leave time will not be counted toward years of experience for purposes of longevity.

Examples of *Longevity Steps in a sentence

  • This section applies to section 6.3.4, Longevity Steps and is effective July 1, 2003.

  • Longevity Steps: Employees are eligible to be placed on step 5 upon completion of four (4) years employment within the bargaining unit.

  • Payment for Longevity Steps #10 and #15 will commence on anniversary date of completion of specified periods.

  • Longevity Steps reflect the following • After Completing 10 years of service in BPS $.50/hr.

  • Upon completion of at least eight (8) consecutive years of service with the Employer and reaching the top step of the employee’s salary range, for a period of one or more year(s), Longevity Steps (LGS) 1-5 will be awarded annually on the employee’s anniversary date.

  • Longevity Steps All MA (and higher) staff members will receive a $400 per year raise based on their years past Step 25.

  • Disposable earnings means that part of the earnings of an

  • efficient exhaust draught means localised ventilation effected by mechanical means for the removal of gas, vapour, dust or fumes so as to prevent them (as far as practicable under the atmospheric conditions usually prevailing) from escaping into the air of any place in which work is carried on. No draught shall be deemed efficient which fails to remove smoke generated at the point where such gas, vapour, fume, or dust originate;

In no event shall application of best available control technology result in emissions of any pollutant which would exceed the emissions allowed by any applicable standard under 7 DE Admin. Code 1120 and 1121. If the Department determines that technological or economic limitations on the application of measurement methodology to a particular emissions unit would make the imposition of an emissions standard infeasible, a design, equipment, work practice, operational standard, or combination thereof, may be prescribed instead to satisfy the requirement for the application of best available control technology. Such standard shall, to the degree possible, set forth the emissions reduction achievable by implementation of such design, equipment, work practice or operation, and shall provide for compliance by means which achieve equivalent results.

  • Best available control technology means best available control technology as defined in section 169 of subpart I of part C of title I of the clean air act, chapter 360, 91 stat. 740, 42 U.S.C. 7479.

  • COVID-19 Measures means any quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure, sequester or any other Law, directive, guidelines or recommendations by any Governmental Authority (including the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization) in each case in connection with, related to or in response to COVID-19, including the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) or any changes thereto.
