INSURANCE, AND OVERTIME COMPENSATION Subject to section E of the document signed by the Individual Contractor, the Individual Contractor’s eligibility for leave, health insurance coverage, Malicious Acts Insurance coverage, service-incurred illness, injury and death insurance and overtime compensation shall be determined as indicated below.
Malicious Acts THINKGARD shall not be liable for any loss, damage or failure due to causes beyond its control, including strikes, riots, earthquakes, epidemics, wars, fires, floods, weather, power failure, telecommunications and/or internet interruptions, the failure or closure of a financial institution, computer malfunctions, acts of God or any other failure, interruption or error not directly caused, or reasonably anticipated, by THINKGARD.
For national consultant, life insurance including injury, death, disability insurance resulting from Malicious Acts is required.
For losses from Vandalism and Malicious Acts caused by tenants, we pay only the amount by which the loss or damage exceeds 2 times the deductible amount shown on the Coverage Summary page.
Additional cover that may be contracted could be: Water damage; Theft or Robbery; Seismic Phenomena; Strikes, Up-risings and Changes to Public Order; Acts of Vandalism or Malicious Acts; Landslide; Damages to the belongings of Third Parties; Electric Risks; Demolition and Removal of Rubble.
Arrange adequate insurance for national personnel covering: Injury, death and disability insurance resulting from Malicious Acts.

Exclusions / Assumptions Force Majeure & Malicious Acts This Statement of Work is designed to cover the support needs of The Client during normal operating conditions.
In addition, the Subscriber may also be covered by the Malicious Acts Insurance Policy (MAIP) if the services are performed at a hazardous duty station as defined by the United Nations or if the Subscriber is requested to travel to a hazardous duty station as part of the services, and subject to compliance with the relevant security instructions in the MAIP, a copy of which has been made available to the Subscriber upon signature of this Contract.
