Market Facility definition

Market Facility means any entity or organization that is: (1) subject to regulation as an exchange under applicable laws, rules or regulations of the country or jurisdiction in which such entity has a physical presence; or (2) a broker-dealer or other entity or organization that acts in an exchange-like capacity by virtue of it, as principal or agent, acting on a regular basis as an intermediary between buyers and sellers of financial instruments of any type.
