Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction definition

Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction means any country (i) which is approved in writing by the Required Lenders in their discretion and (ii) in which it is legal in all political subdivisions therein (including for greater certainty on a federal, state and municipal basis) to undertake Medical Cannabis-Related Activities, as confirmed by a legal opinion provided by the Borrower's counsel in such jurisdiction in form and substance satisfactory to the Agent and the Lenders. The Required Lenders may in their discretion from time to time (i) upon receipt of a written request by the Borrower, designate any jurisdiction a Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction provided that all above criteria set have been satisfied; and (ii) revoke the designation of any jurisdiction as a Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction by written notice to the Borrower if the condition set out in clause (ii) above is no longer satisfied. Each of Canada, Germany, Denmark, Colombia and Uruguay is a Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction as at the date of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the United States shall not be designated a Medical Cannabis Qualified Jurisdiction except with the written consent of all Lenders in their discretion.

  • Qualified Jurisdiction at any time of determination, any jurisdiction in which Kimco or any of its Subsidiaries is doing business at such time the government of which jurisdiction is internationally recognized at such time, including by the United States Government.

  • Restricted Jurisdiction means any jurisdiction where local laws or regulations may result in a significant risk of civil, regulatory or criminal exposure if information concerning the Acquisition is sent or made available in that jurisdiction;

  • Permitted Jurisdictions has the meaning specified in Section 801(a)(1).

  • Designated Jurisdiction means any country or territory to the extent that such country or territory itself is the subject of any Sanction.

  • Qualified United States financial institution means an institution that:

  • Legally Qualified Physician means a physician or a Christian Science Practitioner (a) other than an Insured, a Traveling Companion or a Family Member: (b) practicing within the scope of his or her license: and (c) recognized as a physician in the place where the services are rendered.

  • Qualified Medical Practitioner means a medical practitioner who possesses any recognised medical qualification as defined in clause (h) of section 2 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and who is enrolled on a State Medical register as defined in clause (k) of that section;

  • Qualified Nurse means a person who holds a valid registration from the Nursing Council of India or the Nursing Council of any state in India.

  • Applicant’s Qualified Property means the Qualified Property of the Applicant to which the value limitation identified in the Agreement will apply and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 4 of this Agreement.

  • Qualified Medical Child Support Order means a Medical Child Support Order which creates (including assignment of rights) or recognizes an Alternate Recipient's right to receive benefits to which a Participant or Qualified Beneficiary is eligible under this Plan, and has been determined by the Plan Administrator to meet the qualification requirements as outlined under “Procedures” of this provision.

  • Prohibited Jurisdiction means any country or jurisdiction, from time to time, that is the subject of a prohibition order (or any similar order or directive), sanctions or restrictions promulgated or administered by any Governmental Authority of the United States.

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.

  • Sanctioned Jurisdiction means, at any time, a country, territory or geographical region that is subject to, the target of, or purported to be subject to, Sanctions Laws.

  • Naturopathic physician means a person licensed to practice naturopathic medicine by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine.

  • Qualified veteran means a person who meets the following requirements:

  • Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.

  • Applicant’s Qualified Investment means the Qualified Investment of the Applicant during the Qualifying Time Period and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 3 of this Agreement.

  • School District/Public Entity means the School District/Public Entity that executes the contract.

  • Educational organization means a nonprofit public or private elementary or

  • Affected jurisdiction means any county, city, or town in which all or a portion of a qualifying project is located.

  • Qualified medical direction means, in the context of the practice of respiratory care, having readily
