Directory means a directory of certified minority business enterprises and women business enterprises maintained and published by a Certifying Entity. The Directory identifies firms that have been certified as MBEs and WBEs, and includes both the date of the firm’s last certification and the Area of Specialty in which the firm is certified. Contractors are responsible for verifying the current certification status of all proposed MBE and WBE firms.
American Express Meeting Planner Account or “AMEX MPA” is the method by which all Master Account charges under this Agreement shall be settled with an American Express Meeting Planner Account or AMEX MPA number. The appropriate and authorized AMEX MPA number will be provided to the Contractor only when a final invoice is received, reviewed, and approved by the AOC, in accordance with the provisions of this exhibit.
Data Services The Customer will receive a discount equal to 25% for the following Data Services: Access: Standard VBS2 Guide local loop charges for DS-1 Access and DS-3 Access Service.
Non-Management Director means any Person selected in accordance with Article IV of this Agreement who is not a Management Director.
Management Director means a Person selected in accordance with Article IV of this Agreement who shall have the powers and duties to manage the business and affairs of the Company and exercise its powers to the extent set forth in this Agreement, the Certificate and the Act. Each Management Director shall be a “manager” of the Company within the meaning of the Act.
Merchant means a company, firm or other organisation accepting either all Cards as a means of payment for goods and/or services or at least one type of Card for business to business transactions.
account information service means an online service to provide consolidated information on one or more payment accounts held by the payment service user with either another payment service provider or with more than one payment service provider;
Director-General means the Director-General of the Department;
relevant director means any director or former director of the company or an associated company;
Account Information Service Provider means a payment service provider pursuing business activities as referred to in point (8) of Annex I;
Mobile Wireless Service means all mobile wireless telecommunications services, including commercial mobile radio service (CMRS). CMRS includes paging, air-ground radio, telephone service and offshore radiotelephone services, as well as mobile telephony services, such as the service offerings of carriers using cellular radiotelephone, broadband PCS and SMR licenses. "Multiple Exchange Carrier Access Billing" or "MECAB" refers to the document prepared by the Billing Committee of the Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF), which functions under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee (CLC) of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). The MECAB document, published by ATIS (0401004-00XX), contains the recommended guidelines for the Billing of an access service provided by two (2) or more LECs (including a LEC and a CLEC), or by one (1) LEC in two (2) or more states within a single LATA. "Multiple Exchange Carrier Ordering and Design" or "MECOD" Guidelines for Access Services - Industry Support Interface, refers to the document developed by the Ordering/Provisioning Committee under the auspices of the Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF), which functions under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee (CLC) of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). The MECOD document, published by ATIS (0404120-00X), contains recommended guidelines for processing orders for access service which is to be provided by two (2) or more LECs (including a LEC and a CLEC). "N-1 Carrier" means the Carrier in the call routing process immediately preceding the terminating Carrier. The N-1 Carrier is responsible for performing the database queries (under the FCC's rules) to determine the LRN value for correctly routing a call to a ported number. "National Emergency Number Association" or "NENA" is an association which fosters the technological advancement, availability and implementation of 911 Service nationwide through research, planning, training, certification, technical assistance and legislative representation.
Registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database means that—
System for Award Management (SAM) database means the primary Government repository for contractor information required for the conduct of business with the Government.
Computer network means the interconnection of hardwire or wireless communication lines with a computer through remote terminals, or a complex consisting of 2 or more interconnected computers.
Internet service means a service that enables users to access proprietary and other content,
Department Director means the director of the department of human rights.
Interactive computer service means any information service, system, or ac- cess software provider that provides or enables computer access by multiple users to a computer server, including specifically a service or system that provides access to the Internet and such systems operated or services of- fered by libraries or educational insti- tutions.
Internet Services means the Services provided to you by us using broadband technology to enable you to gain access to the Internet and certain other Services whether by a personal computer, television or other device;
System for Award Management (SAM means the primary Government repository for prospective Federal awardee and Federal awardee information and the centralized Government system for certain contracting, grants, and other assistance-related processes. It includes—
Voice Services means the telecommunications services to be provided to you under Part A and as specified in your Application.
Tandem Office Switch or “Tandem(s)” are used to connect and switch trunk circuits between and among other Central Office Switches. A Tandem Switch does not include a PBX.
Beta Services means Xxxxxx services or functionality that may be made available to Customer to try at its option at no additional charge which is clearly designated as beta, pilot, limited release, developer preview, non-production, evaluation, or by a similar description.
Passenger Services means the Franchisee's railway passenger services as specified in any Timetable and/or Plan of the Day including those railway passenger services which the Franchisee may delegate or subcontract or otherwise secure through any other person from time to time in accordance with the Franchise Agreement;

Conferencing Services In lieu of any other rates and discounts, the Customer will receive a discount equal to 30% for the following Conferencing Services: US Dial Out International Audio Conferencing. The current standard rates in the Guide (which includes both transport and bridging) for domestically bridged International Dial-Out Audio Conferencing, International Audio Conferencing (dial out from a US bridge).
