Milk River Project means the Bureau of Reclamation project conditionally approved by the Secretary of the Interior on March 14, 1903, under the Act of June 17, 1902 (32 Stat. 388, chapter 1093), commencing at Lake Sherburne Reservoir and providing water to a point approximately 6 miles east of Nashua, Montana. The St. Mary Storage Unit was authorized on March 25, 1905 by the Secretary of the Interior.
