Minimum Death. Benefit The Minimum Death Benefit shall be the sum of the following: 1. The Accumulation Value allocated to Special Funds; and 2.

Examples of Minimum Death in a sentence

  • The death benefit will be the greater of the Guideline Minimum Death Benefit or one of the following three options: (1) Death Benefit Option A — the face amount of the Policy; (2) Death Benefit Option B — the face amount of the Policy plus the accumulated value; or (3) Death Benefit Option C — the face amount of the Policy plus the total premiums paid minus total withdrawals.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Rider, you will receive a Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit (GMDB) with this flexible premium deferred fixed and variable Annuity Contract as described below.

  • If the PBAV is greater than the Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit, we do not reset the Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit for the surviving spouse.

  • The indemnity cession shall be the share of the MNAR (defined in Article IV) that is generated, prior to the termination of the Reinsurer's liability (defined in Article II), by the Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit ("GMDB") and Earnings Preservation Benefit ("EPB") provisions of the Reinsured Contracts, as specified in Schedule A.

  • The two Death Benefit Qualification Tests and the Minimum Death Benefit amounts applicable to each are explained in this subsection.

  • Simple Life is a US life insurance company located in Boston, Massachusetts with four lines of business: Universal Life (UL), Level Premium Term Insurance with three available level term periods: 10, 20 and 30 year, Single Premium Immediate Annuities (SPIA) and Variable Annuities with a Return of Premium (ROP) Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit (GMDB) and a Guaranteed Minimum Accumulation Benefit (GMAB).

  • The Guarantee Benefit Fee will have no impact on the Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit (Option 2).

Related to Minimum Death

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.

  • Termination due to Disability means a termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company because the Executive has been incapable, after reasonable accommodation, of substantially fulfilling the positions, duties, responsibilities and obligations set forth in this Agreement because of physical, mental or emotional incapacity resulting from injury, sickness or disease for a period of (A) six (6) consecutive months or (B) an aggregate of nine (9) months (whether or not consecutive) in any twelve (12) month period. Any question as to the existence, extent or potentiality of the Executive’s disability shall be determined by a qualified physician selected by the Company with the consent of the Executive, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Executive or the Executive’s legal representatives or any adult member of the Executive’s immediate family shall have the right to present to such physician such information and arguments as to the Executive’s disability as he, she or they deem appropriate, including the opinion of the Executive’s personal physician.

  • Fetal death means death prior to the complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of human conception, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, that is not an induced termination of pregnancy. The death is indicated by the fact that after such expulsion or extraction the fetus does not breathe or show any other evidence of life such as beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord or definite movement of the voluntary muscles.

  • Pregnancy disability means a pregnancy-related medical condition or miscarriage.

  • Minimum DSCR means, with respect to a Supplemental Loan, (i) if the Senior Indebtedness bears interest at a fixed rate, 1.25:1, or (ii) if the Senior Indebtedness bears interest at a floating rate, 1.10:1.

  • Brain Death means irreversible unconsciousness with total loss of brain function; and complete absence of electrical activity of the brain, even though the heart is still beating.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Stated Termination Date means, with respect to the Revolving Credit Facility, March 4, 2027 and, with respect to any Extended Revolving Credit Facility, the maturity date set forth in the Extension Agreement related thereto.

  • Minimum Hire Period means the Minimum Hire Period as described on the invoices, quotation, authority to hire, or any other forms as provided by the Supplier to the Client.

  • Death means death resulting from an injury or occupational disease;

  • Multiple disabilities means concomitant impairments (such as intellectual disability- blindness, intellectual disability-orthopedic impairment, etc.), the combination of which causes such severe educational needs that they cannot be accommodated in special education programs solely for one of the impairments. The term does not include deaf/blindness.

  • Accidental Death means death due to accident, where accident is a sudden, unforeseen and involuntary event caused by external and visible means

  • Extended benefit period means a period which:

  • Disability retirement for plan 1 members, means the period

  • Automatic Renewal Term has the meaning set forth in Section 10(a) hereof.

  • Disability/Disabled means because of Injury or Sickness you are unable to perform the material duties of your Regular Occupation, or are receiving disability benefits under the Employer's plan, during the initial 9 months of Disability. Thereafter, you must be unable to perform all of the material duties of any occupation which you may reasonably become qualified based on education, training or experience, or are subject to the terms of a Rehabilitation Plan approved by the Insurance Company.

  • Qualifying Termination means a termination of the Executive’s employment either (i) by a Company Group member without Cause (excluding by reason of Executive’s death or Disability) or (ii) by the Executive for Good Reason, in either case, during the Change in Control Period (a “Qualifying CIC Termination”) or outside of the Change in Control Period (a “Qualifying Non-CIC Termination”).

  • CIC Qualifying Termination means, in each case, on or within twenty-four (24) months following a Change in Control, (i) a termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company without Cause, (ii) a termination of the Executive’s employment by reason of death or Disability, or (iii) a termination of the Executive’s employment by the Executive for Good Reason.

  • Automatic Early Termination provision of Section 6(a) will not apply to Party A and will not apply to Party B.

  • Starting Date means the date referred to in Clause 3.3 hereof;

  • Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).

  • Qualifying Termination of Employment means a Participant’s Termination of Employment (i) by the Company without Cause or (ii) by the Participant with or without Good Reason or by reason of Retirement.

  • Minimum Term means the minimum initial period of service for each Service as shown on the Service Agreement and Order Schedule, such period to start on the date on which the relevant Service is first made available to you for use. For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise agreed the minimum term will be 12 months from your contract commencement date or other such date as may be notified to you in accordance with paragraph 19.2.
