Mitigating Activities definition

Mitigating Activities means actions taken by a Registered Entity to correct and prevent recurrence of a noncompliance, whether or not the actions are embodied in a Mitigation Plan.

Examples of Mitigating Activities in a sentence

  • If Documents, data, information or other reports requested from a Registered Entity in connection with development of a Mitigation Plan or other Mitigating Activities are not received by the Required Date, the Compliance Enforcement Authority may execute the steps described in Attachment 1, Process for Non-submittal of Requested Data.

  • NERC will work to achieve consistency in the application of the Sanction Guidelines by Regional Entities by direct oversight and review of Penalties and sanctions, and each Regional Entity shall provide to NERC such information as is requested by NERC concerning any Penalty, sanction, or Mitigating Activities imposed by the Regional Entity.

  • Mitigation may be documented through Mitigating Activities or a Mitigation Plan.

  • Mitigating Activities or Mitigation Plan for a Possible Violation in the BC FFT Process generally requires the expected mitigation completion be within three (3) months of submittal.

  • Mitigating Activities are generally less complex and therefore a formal Mitigation Plan is not necessary.

  • Mitigating Activities may or may not be complete at the time the Entity provides the information to WECC.

  • At the Compliance Enforcement Authority’s discretion, the completion deadline may be extended for good cause including, but not limited to: (i) operational issues such as the inability to schedule an outage to complete Mitigating Activities, and (ii) construction requirements in the Mitigation Plan that require longer to complete than originally anticipated.

  • Nonetheless, if a Possible Violation included in the BC FFT Process has not yet been mitigated, the Entity must submit a Mitigation Plan to WECC, or a description of how the Possible Violation will be mitigated through Mitigating Activities, within thirty (30) days after WECC notifies the Entity that it will follow the BC FFT Process.

  • The initial opinion also shall contain the appropriate orders to dispose of the proceeding, including any Penalty, Mitigation Plan or Mitigating Activities, or Remedial Action Directive that the Hearing Officer proposes the Hearing Panel require.

  • The Compliance Enforcement Authority shall determine (i) whether there have been violations of Reliability Standards by Registered Entities within the Compliance Enforcement Authority’s Area of Responsibility, and (ii) if so, the appropriate Mitigating Activities, and Penalties and sanctions, as prescribed in the NERC Sanction Guidelines (Appendix 4B to the NERC Rules of Procedure).

Related to Mitigating Activities

  • Interfering Activities means (A) recruiting, encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to recruit, encourage, solicit, or induce, any Person employed by, or providing consulting services to, any member of the Company Group to terminate such Person’s employment or services (or in the case of a consultant, materially reducing such services) with the Company Group, (B) hiring, or engaging any individual who was employed by or providing services to the Company Group within the six (6) month period prior to the date of such hiring or engagement, or (C) encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to encourage, solicit, or induce, any Business Relation to cease doing business with or reduce the amount of business conducted with the Company Group, or in any way interfering with the relationship between any such Business Relation and the Company Group.

  • Restricted Activities means and includes the following:

  • Project Activities means the activities to be undertaken or Works to be delivered or Property to be contributed or provided by you, your approved Sub-Grantees or your approved sub- contractors as summarised in the Particulars and more particularly described in the Agreed Proposal for which Xxxxx is payable under this Agreement;
