Moderate income households definition

Moderate income households means households earning 80 to 120 percent of the countywide median income.

  • The maximum monthly rent (which includes the tenant-paid portion of the rent, the Utility Allowance, and rental assistance payment) charged by Developer for the ninety-nine (99) Qualifying Units, as specified in Section 3.03(a), occupied by Low- to Moderate-Income Households, other than Extremely Low-Income Households, must be set at levels that are affordable to Low- to Moderate-Income Households.

  • The occupancy and maximum-rent requirements set forth herein shall inure to the benefit of Low- to Moderate-Income Households or Extremely Low-Income Households, and such requirements may be judicially enforced against Developer.

  • Developer shall designate, at a minimum, seventy-two (72) (51%) of the one hundred forty- one (141) total Units as Qualifying Units to be occupied by Low- to Moderate-Income Households.

More Definitions of Moderate income households

Moderate income households means households who, on the basis of their Income, qualify for the Affordable Housing Rental Program, as set out in Schedule “B” or such revised or amended schedule of rents as may be designated by MHRC from time to time.
