Affordable Housing Rental Program definition

Affordable Housing Rental Program means the program administered by Manitoba Housing that sets out the maximum monthly rent, inclusive of heat, hydro, and water, that can be charged for a housing unit in the Project to a tenant household where total household income is at or below the applicable Affordable Housing Rental Program Income Limit as set out in Section 4.2.3 Table 2 of this NRFP, with such rents being at or below those set out in Section 4.2.3 Table 3 of this NRFP.
Affordable Housing Rental Program means the Program administered by the Province of NewBrunswick’s Department of Social Development to provide capital grant funding towards the creation of new housing units for low- and moderate-income households in New Brunswick.
Affordable Housing Rental Program means the program for lower-moderate income households whose total household income is below the posted Program Income Limit on the Manitoba Housing website or otherwise published by MHRC. In this program, the household will pay an affordable rent established annually by Manitoba Housing posted on the Manitoba Housing website or otherwise published by Manitoba Housing, and are effective January 1 of each year.   • The board does this annually or more often as needed.As a policy decision, the board has determined that the co-op’s monthly housing charges will not exceed the Manitoba Housing Affordable Housing Rental Program Rents.

  • Affordable housing project means, for purposes of this part, title fourteen of article twenty seven of the environmental conservation law and section twenty-one of the tax law only, a project that is developed for residential use or mixed residential use that must include affordable residential rental units and/or affordable home ownership units.

  • Affordable housing means housing that is available at a cost low enough to meet the needs of eligible households having regard to local incomes and local house prices and which will remain at an affordable price for future eligible households or, if not, that the subsidy is recycled for alternative affordable housing provision

  • Rental housing means development of a building or structure with four or more dwelling units all of which are intended for use as rented residential premises.

  • Affordable Housing Units – means the Affordable Housing to be provided as part of the Development in accordance with the application and/or any subsequent reserved matters approval.

  • Urban renewal project means undertakings and activities of a municipality in an urban renewal area for the elimination and for the prevention of the development or spread of slums and blight, and may involve slum clearance and redevelopment in an urban renewal area, or rehabilitation or conservation in an urban renewal area, or any combination or part of them in accordance with an urban renewal plan. These undertakings and activities may include:
