Multicast Connection definition

Multicast Connection means a service to allow the Contracting QP to deliver IP multicast content over the NGNBN using Nucleus Connect’s IP multicast technology. An IP Multicast Connection will allow the Contracting QP to deliver its IP multicast content from its QP-EVPL Service Port to Nucleus Connect’s Aggregation Layer at an NetLink Trust CO; Latency means the one-way delay in packet delivery as a result of physical distance, and the Active Network components from the Aggregation to the Core Layer; Quality of Service or (QoS) means the service levels committed for ensuring delivery of services over the B-C segment of the diagram below, measured by Jitter, Latency and Packet Loss as set out in the table in paragraph 4.2(c);
Multicast Connection a connection established for the purpose of facilitating the sending of a single frame to multiple destinations. Multicast DLCI (Mdlci): the DLCI assigned to designate a particular multicast connection at a particular frame relay access interface.
Multicast Connection allows an End User to subscribe to and access a Multicast Domain. Multicast Domains

Examples of Multicast Connection in a sentence

  • Upon the installation of an IP Multicast Connection by Nucleus Connect, a one-time Installation Charge specified in the table below shall be imposed on the Contracting QP on a per IP Multicast Connection basis.

  • Testing and commissioning of IP Multicast Connection distribution 3.

  • This Service Schedule shall commence with effect from the date that the Contracting QP first places an Order to take up an IP Multicast Connection, in accordance with the General Service Terms and Conditions.

  • The charges set out in this paragraph 5 are the rates payable by the Contracting QP on a per IP Multicast Connection (or as the case may be, IP Unicast Connection) basis.

More Definitions of Multicast Connection

Multicast Connection means a service to allow the Contracting QP to deliver IP multicast content over the NGNBN using Nucleus Connect’s IP multicast technology. An IP Multicast Connection will allow the Contracting QP to deliver its IP multicast content from its QP-EVPL Service Port to Nucleus Connect’s Aggregation Layer at an OpenNet CO; IP Unicast Connection means a service to allow the Contracting QP to deliver IP unicast content from its QP-EVPL Service Port to Nucleus Connect’s Aggregation Layer at an OpenNet CO; Latency means the one-way delay in packet delivery as a result of physical distance, and the Active Network components from the Aggregation to the Core Layer; Quality of Service or (QoS) means the service levels committed for ensuring delivery of services over the B-C segment of the diagram below, measured by Jitter, Latency and Packet Loss as set out in the table in paragraph 4.2(c);

  • Illicit connection means any man-made conveyance connecting an illicit discharge directly to a municipal separate storm sewer.

  • Cross Connection means a jumper cable or similar connection provided pursuant to Collocation at the digital signal cross connect, Main Distribution Frame or other suitable frame or panel between (i) the Collocating Party’s equipment and (ii) the equipment or facilities of the housing party.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.
