Municipal Clerk definition

Municipal Clerk means the city clerk, town clerk, vil- lage clerk and the executive director of the city election commis- sion and their authorized representatives. Where applicable, “municipal clerk” also includes the clerk of a school district.
Municipal Clerk means the statutory officer whose duties are defined in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 and may refer to the duly appointed clerk of the “city,” “town,” “township,” “village,” or “borough.”
