Subject to the foregoing, the Company may determine that a particular claim, benefit, Treatment or diagnosis occurring under or relating to this insurance may be placed under the Company’s “Patient Advocacy” program to ensure that Medically Necessary Treatment and supplies are provided in the most cost-effective manner.
Emergency Medical Evacuation: Your evacuation because Your medical condition warrants immediate transportation from the medical facility where You are located to the nearest adequate medical facility where Medically Necessary Treatment can be obtained.
Necessary Treatment means medical services and/or supplies recommended by the treating Physician that must be performed during the Trip due to the serious and acute nature of the Sickness or Accidental Injury.
Such recommendations will be made with input from the Insured Person and/or the Insured Person's guardians, Relatives, Treating Physicians and/or other healthcare providers, and will be made only when it can be reasonably demonstrated that the Medically Necessary Treatment and/or supplies can be provided in a more cost-effective manner to the Company and/or the Insured Person.

EMERGENCY ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS MEDICAL EXPENSEThe Company will reimburse benefits up to the Maximum Benefit shown on the Schedule of Benefits, subject to anyapplicable sub-limits, if You incur Covered Medical Expenses for Necessary Treatment of an Accidental Injury or a Sickness that occurs during the Trip.

Accidental Injury or death of a Family Member or Traveling Companion booked to travel with You that a.) occurs while You are on Your Trip; b.) requires Necessary Treatment at the time of interruption; and c.) as certified by a Physician, results in medically imposed restrictions as to prevent that person’s continued participation on the Trip.
