NET PRACTICE definition

NET PRACTICE. REVENUES. The term "Net Practice Revenues" shall mean all revenues, computed on an accrual basis as defined by GAAP, (after taking into account adjustments for uncollectible accounts, discounts, Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation, professional courtesy discounts and other write-offs) generated by or on behalf of Practice or its employees as a result of professional medical services furnished to patients, and other fees or income generated by such persons in their capacity as Physician Shareholders, Practice Employees and employees of Practice, whether rendered in an inpatient or outpatient setting and whether generated from health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, Medicare, Medicaid or rendered to other patients, including, but not limited to, payments received under any capitation arrangement. The term "Net Practice Revenues" shall also include any ancillary services revenues for services provided at the Medical Offices.
NET PRACTICE. REVENUES. The term "Net Practice Revenues" shall mean all revenues, computed on an accrual basis as defined by GAAP, (after taking into account adjustments for uncollectible accounts, discounts, contractual allowances, Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS, workers' compensation, professional courtesy discounts and other write-offs) generated by or on behalf of Practice or its employees as a result of professional medical services furnished to patients, and other fees or income generated by such persons in their capacity as Physician Shareholders, Practice Employees and employees of Practice, whether rendered in an inpatient or outpatient setting and whether generated from health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, Medicare, Medicaid or rendered to other patients, including, but not limited to, payments received under any capitation or risk withhold arrangements. The term "Net Practice Revenues" shall also include any ancillary services (e.g., hearing aids) revenues for services provided at the Medical Offices.
NET PRACTICE. REVENUES" means, for any fiscal period, (i) all revenues recognized by or on behalf of the Practice or any of its Practice Employees, including New Practice Employees, as a result of professional medical services furnished to patients, ancillary services furnished to patients, pharmaceuticals and other items and supplies sold to patients; (ii) revenues received by the Practice from the purchase of its accounts receivable by PHC-SUB as provided in Section 7 hereof; and (iii) other fees or income received by the --------- Practice or its Practice Employees in their capacity as Practice Employees, whether rendered in an inpatient or outpatient setting and whether rendered to health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, Medicare, Medicaid or other patients, including, but not limited to, payments received under any capitation arrangement (including, without limitation, monthly capitation payments, bonus payments, risk pool payments, etc.). For the purposes of this Agreement, only the professional component of New Ancillary Service Revenue shall be included in Net Practice Revenues.

  • Best Practice means solutions, techniques, methods and approaches which are appropriate, cost-effective and state of the art (at Member State and sector level), and which are implemented at an operational scale and under conditions that allow the achievement of the impacts set out in the award criterion ’Impact’ first paragraph (see below).

  • Group practice means a group of two or more health care providers legally organized as a partnership, professional corporation, or similar association:

  • Good Practice means such practice in the processing of personal data as appears to the Commissioner to be desirable having regard to the interests of data subjects and others, and includes (but is not limited to) compliance with the requirements of this Act;

  • Best Practices means a term that is often used inter-changeably with “evidence- based practice” and is best defined as an “umbrella” term for three levels of practice, measured in relation to Recovery-consistent mental health practices where the Recovery process is supported with scientific intervention that best meets the needs of the Client at this time.

  • Good Industry Practice means standards, practices, methods and procedures conforming to the Law and the degree of skill and care, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced person or body engaged in a similar type of undertaking under the same or similar circumstances.

  • Unfair labor practice means the commission of an act designated an unfair labor practice

  • ISO-NE Practices means the ISO-NE practices and procedures for delivery and transmission of energy in effect from time to time and shall include, without limitation, applicable requirements of the NEPOOL Agreement, and any applicable successor practices and procedures.

  • Good Industry Practices means the practices that would be adopted by, and the exercise of that degree of care, skill, diligence, prudence and foresight that reasonably would be expected from, a competent contractor in the international oil and gas industry experienced in performing work similar in nature, size, scope and complexity to the Work and under conditions comparable to those applicable to the Work, where such work is subject to, and such contractor is seeking to comply with, the standards and codes specified in the Contract or (to the extent that they are not so specified) such national or international standards and codes as are most applicable in the circumstances, and the applicable Law.

  • Best management practice or "BMP" means schedules of activities, prohibitions of practices, including both structural and nonstructural practices, maintenance procedures, and other management practices to prevent or reduce the pollution of surface waters and groundwater systems from the impacts of land-disturbing activities.

  • Codes of Practice shall have the meaning given to the term in Clause 1.2 of Schedule 3;

  • Code of Practice means the code of practice for protecting the interests of users of railway passenger services or station services who have disabilities, as prepared, revised from time to time and published by the Secretary of State pursuant to Section 71B of the Act;

  • Best management practices (BMP) means schedules of activities, prohibitions of practices, maintenance procedures, and other management practices to prevent or reduce the pollution of waters of the United States. BMPs include treatment requirements, operation procedures, and practices to control plant site runoff, spillage or leaks, sludge or waste disposal, or drainage from raw material storage.

  • Employment Practices means any wrongful or unfair dismissal, denial of natural justice, defamation, misleading representation or advertising, unfair contracts, harassment or discrimination (sexual or otherwise) in respect of employment by the Insured.

  • Best Industry Practice means that degree of skill, care and foresight and operating practice that would reasonably and ordinarily be expected of a skilled and competent supplier of services engaged in the same type of undertaking as that of the Recipient or any contractors (as applicable) under the same or similar circumstances as those contemplated by this Agreement.
