Practice Employees definition

Practice Employees means: (a) those individuals who are duly licensed to practice medicine in the State and who are employees of Practice (other than Physician Shareholders), or those individuals who are otherwise under contract with Practice to provide physician and/or medical services to patients, specifically including nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, Fellows, surgical assistants, certified nurse midwives, individuals with a Masters in Social Work degree, physical therapists, and psychologists with a Masters or a Doctorate degree; and (b) those individuals (other than those described in Section 1.5(a)) required by law, regulatory authority or policy as of the Effective Date, who must be billed through and by a licensed physician and who are therefore required to be employees of the Practice.

Practice Employees means (i) those individuals who are employees of Practice or are otherwise under contract with Practice to provide professional services to Practice patients and are duly licensed to provide professional medical services in the State of Arkansas, including physicians and Allied Health Professionals.

Practice Employees means nurses, medical technologists and technicians, radiology technologists and technicians, radiation technologists and technicians, physicists, nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and all other such employees of the Practice directly or indirectly involved with providing medical care to patients.

The primary source of the $30,000 monthly that WellQuest shall deposit into the Payroll Account shall be funds transferred from the Practice Account.   • Seller Employees shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.4(a) hereof.

  • Medical personnel means those persons assigned, by a Party to the conflict, exclusively to the medical purposes enumerated under sub-paragraph (e) or to the administration of medical units or to the operation or administration of medical transports. Such assignments may be either permanent or temporary. The term includes:

  • Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.

  • Medical Benefits means the monthly fair market value of benefits provided to the Employee and the Employee’s dependents under the major medical, dental and vision benefit plans sponsored and maintained by the Company, at the level of coverage in effect for such persons immediately prior to the Employee’s termination of employment date. The “monthly fair market value” of such benefits shall be equal to the monthly cost as if such persons elected COBRA continuation coverage at such time at their own expense.

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).

  • Supported employment services means provision of job training and supervision available to assist an individual who needs intensive ongoing support to choose, get, and keep a job in a community business setting. Supported employment is a service planned in partnership with public vocational assistance agencies and school districts and through Social Security Work Incentives when available.

  • Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.

  • Other Employees means, all the employees other than the Directors, KMPs and the Senior Management Personnel.

  • Pharmacy benefits manager means a person that performs pharmacy benefits management.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Uniformed services means the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps, United States Space Force, United States Coast Guard, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps, the United States Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Services, and the state and federal reserve components of each of these bodies.

  • Medical Benefits Schedule means the Medicare Schedule of Benefits produced by the Department of Health to which all fees and benefits relate for inpatient hospital services.
