Professional Courtesy. 7.11.1 As appropriate protocol, and when possible, all differences of an interpersonal nature should be worked out between an informal conference between the Teacher and the Administrator. When interpersonal differences occur, the parties recognize that it is inappropriate to criticize each other in the presence of others.
Professional Courtesy. The parties endorse the concept of Professional Courtesy, which is defined as duties performed by a teacher during released or non-instructional time for another teacher who is indisposed by circumstances either by or beyond his/her control. In any case, Professional Courtesy shall be extended only with the consent of both the teacher extending the courtesy and the teacher receiving the courtesy. It shall be the responsibility of the teachers to notify the Building Principal at the time of the change.
Professional Courtesy. Participating Contractors shall conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and reasonable manner at all times when interacting with Program participants, NYSERDA staff, Program Implementation contractors, and external Program contractors. Participating Contractors shall not engage in behavior that adversely impacts NYSERDA or other Participating Contractors, tarnishes NYSERDA’s service marks, and/or diminishes the profession or service in the eyes of the public.

The parties are committed to a work atmosphere characterized by “professional courtesy” and believe that it is the responsibility of all District employees to treat everyone involved in our education environment with dignity and respect. No derogatory communications, verbal or nonverbal, shall be made by any employee to any employee in the presence of other District employees, students, parents or other visitors. Critical counseling shall be conducted in a manner and in a location that will maintain professional courtesy and avoid undue embarrassment to the members of the bargaining unit.
B. No employee shall receive adverse comments from the site administrator in the presence of students or faculty members regarding performance evaluation. All comments regarding an employee’s professional performance shall be communicated directly to the employee.
Professional Courtesy. The Association and the School Board will endeavor to provide an opportunity for employees to attend college classes when there are extenuating circumstances. Employees shall notify the Association and the School Board upon knowledge of such circumstances.
Professional Courtesy. When a principal or supervisor must speak with a teacher in regard to events unacceptable to the principal or supervisor, those discussions shall not occur in the presence of parents, pupils, teachers, or non-professional employees, except in extenuating circumstances.
Professional Courtesy. Section 1 Elementary teachers, who are under contract with the Office at fifty percent (50%) or more, shall be permitted to enroll their child/children in a diocesan school at one-half (1/2) the prevailing tuition rate. Teachers whose children may qualify for need-based or academic scholarships are encouraged to apply for additional tuition assistance offered by the Diocese of Youngstown and/or scholarship programs offered by the individual high schools. Teachers may negotiate an increased tuition benefit at the local level.
Section 2 In the event that a parent becomes deceased or totally disabled (as certified by a licensed physician) while holding a teaching contract with the Office, his/her child or children shall be permitted to enroll in a diocesan school at one-half (1/2) the prevailing tuition rate. If the child(xxx) of the deceased or totally disabled teacher is attending or would normally attend the school of former employment, the child(ren) will not be charged any tuition.

B. Critical opinions, information or judgments that are not documented through the evaluation or disciplinary process shall not be communicated by former/current administrative supervisors to new and/or potential administrative supervisors in any manner.
Professional Courtesy. A. Intra-district Transfer: Following siblings of current Open Enrollees, children of permanent district employees who reside within Santa Xxxx City limits shall be given first priority under Open Enrollment.
B. Through the duration of this agreement, bargaining unit members who reside outside of the boundaries of the Santa Xxxx City School District may apply for and shall receive an inter-district transfer for their children to attend a school operated by the District on a space available basis. The decision of the District regarding whether space is available shall not be subject to the grievance procedure of this Agreement. However, a faculty member who is denied an_inter-district transfer may request in writing the reasons for such denial to which the District will respond in writing. Any class size limitation provided by Article XIII of this Agreement shall not include the children of bargaining unit members in the grade levels and schools which they attend. Each child granted an Inter-district transfer is granted such a transfer subject to the same standards that are applicable to other inter-district transfers granted by the District.
