New EU SCCs definition

New EU SCCs means those set out in the Annex of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021.
New EU SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses issued pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, completed as set forth in the Appendix to this DPA.
New EU SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses issued pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, completed as set forth in Schedule A to this DPA. In several places, this DPA references the content of an Annex of the New EU SCCs as the source of information. Such references are to avoid duplication of such content and should not be construed as an indication that the rest of the New EU SCCs necessarily apply in a particular case, or that the sentence containing the reference is limited in scope to data that is subject to the New EU SCCs.

Examples of New EU SCCs in a sentence

  • With respect to Personal Data transferred from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the New EU SCCs incorporated herein shall apply, form part of this DPA, and take precedence over the rest of this DPA to the extent of conflict.

  • For international transfers subject to:‌• the Original EU SCCs for jurisdictions that have not adopted the New SCCs, the parties hereby incorporate the Original EU SCCs in unmodified form.• the New EU SCCs, the parties hereby incorporate the New EU SCCs in unmodified form (Module Two where Data Exporter is a Controller and Data Importer is a Processor or Module Three where Data Exporter and Data Importer are both Processors).

  • The Parties agree that Xxxxx I, Xxxxx XX and to the New EU SCCs shall be completed by Appendix 1 to this DPA.

  • The Original EU SCCs and the New EU SCCs are available on the Citrix Trust Center at https://www.citrix.com/about/trust-center/agreements.html, and shall be between You and Citrix Systems, Inc., irrespective of Your location.

  • For purposes of Clause 7 of the New EU SCCs, any acceding entity shall enforce its rights through You.

  • As used in this Schedule, New EU SCCs and UK SCCs have the meaning given to each in the definition of Standard Contractual Clauses in Clause 18.

  • You may formally execute the incorporated Original EU SCCs or the New EU SCCs available on the Citrix Trust Center.

  • For international transfers subject to:• the Original EU SCCs for jurisdictions that have not adopted the New SCCs, the parties hereby incorporate by reference the Original EU SCCs in unmodified form.• the New EU SCCs, the parties hereby incorporate by reference the New SCCs in unmodified form.

  • With respect to the New EU SCCs, the parties agree to the following: (i) Clause 7 acceding entities shall enforce their rights through the entity that hasexecuted the Agreement; (ii) Clause 9 shall be governed by Option 2 (General Authorisation) and provide for a 14 day advance notice; and for Clauses 17 and 18, the parties choose Ireland and the Supervisory Authority of Ireland.

  • Where this Section does not explicitly state that it applies to a particular Module of the New EU SCCs, it applies to both Modules.

  • EU GDPR means the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679).
