New EU SCCs definition

New EU SCCs means those set out in the Annex of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021.
New EU SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses issued pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, completed as set forth in Schedule A to this DPA.
New EU SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses issued pursuant to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914 of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, completed as set forth in Schedule A to this DPA. In several places, this DPA references the content of an Annex of the New EU SCCs as the source of information. Such references are to avoid duplication of such content and should not be construed as an indication that the rest of the New EU SCCs necessarily apply in a particular case, or that the sentence containing the reference is limited in scope to data that is subject to the New EU SCCs.

Examples of New EU SCCs in a sentence

  • With respect to Customer Personal Data transferred from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the New EU SCCs shall apply, form part of the DPA, and take precedence over the rest of the DPA to the extent of conflict.

  • Where INK is acting as Customer’s Sub-processor, Module Three of the New EU SCCs shall apply.

  • As used in this Schedule, New EU SCCs and UK SCCs have the meaning given to each in the definition of Standard Contractual Clauses in Clause 18.

  • With respect to Personal Data transferred from the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the New EU SCCs incorporated herein shall apply, form part of this DPA, and take precedence over the rest of this DPA to the extent of conflict.

  • If the Standard Contractual Clauses as described in Section 10.2 (Transfers of Data Out of the EEA) are applicable to Upwork’s processing of Customer Personal Data, the parties agree that the certification of deletion referenced in Clause 12(1) of the Old EU SCCs and in Clauses 8.5 and 16(d) of the New EU SCCs shall be provided only upon Customer’s written request.

  • With respect to Personal Data transferred from Switzerland for which Swiss law (and not the law in any European Economic Area jurisdiction) governs the international nature of the transfer, references to the GDPR in Clause 4 of the New EU SCCs are, to the extent legally required, amended to refer to the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act or its successor instead, and the concept of the supervisory authority shall include the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

  • If and to the extent a Customer Affiliate relies on the New EU SCCs for the transfer of Customer Data, any reference to Customer includes such Customer Affiliate.

  • Where INK is acting as Customer’s Processor, Module Two of the New EU SCCs shall apply.

  • Where this Section does not explicitly state that it applies to a particular Module of the New EU SCCs, it applies to both Modules.

  • The Parties agree that ▇▇▇▇▇ I, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ and to the New EU SCCs shall be completed by Appendix 1 to this DPA.

Related to New EU SCCs

  • EU SCCs means the annex found in the European Commission decision of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (available as of August 1, 2021 at ▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇/▇▇▇/dec_impl/2021/914/oj) and any amendments, replacements, or updated standard contractual clauses as recognized and approved by the European Commission from time to time.

  • SCCs means the standard contractual clauses for the transfer of Personal Data to third countries pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and implemented by the European Commission decision 2021/914, dated 4 June 2021.

  • CDBG-DR means Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery.

  • GXP means any Point of Connection on the Grid:

  • Multiple Exchange Carriers Ordering and Design or “MECOD” means the Guidelines for Access Services - Industry Support Interface, a document developed by the Ordering/Provisioning Committee of the OBF, which functions under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee of ATIS. The MECOD document, published by ATIS as ATIS/OBF- MECAB-Issue 3, February 1993, establishes methods for processing orders for access service which is to be provided to an IXC by two (2) or more telecommunications providers.
