Non-habitable definition

Non-habitable means any portion of a Dwelling or Dwelling Unit, which does not comply with the standards of fitness for occupancy set out in this By-law and includes: bathroom, toilet room, laundry, pantry, lobby, corridor, stairway, closet, boiler room or other space for service and maintenance of the Dwelling.
Non-habitable means a Class 10 building as defined under the National Construction Code Series.
Non-habitable means a Class 10 building as defined under the NCC.

  • Habitable room means any room in a dwelling unit used for or capable of being used for living, cooking, sleeping or eating purposes.

  • Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Project and interior utility raceways and installations within the Unit that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other tenants of the Project and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, walkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Watertight means capable of preventing the passage of water through the structure in any direction under a head of water for which the surrounding structure is designed.

  • Sanitary with respect to a building, means it is free from danger or hazard to the health of persons occupying or frequenting it or to that of the public, if such danger arises from the method or materials of its construction or from any equipment installed therein, for the purpose of lighting, heating, ventilating, or plumbing.

  • Common Area means all areas and facilities within the Project that are not designated by Landlord for the exclusive use of Tenant or any other lessee or other occupant of the Project, including the parking areas, access and perimeter roads, pedestrian sidewalks, landscaped areas, trash enclosures, recreation areas and the like.
