  • Nonmetallic mining at nonmetallic mining sites where less than one acre of total affected acreage occurs over the life of the mine.

  • Metallic coating means a coating which contains more than five grams of metal particles per liter of coating, as applied. Metal particles are pieces of a pure elemental metal or a combination of elemental metals.

  • Underground mining means all methods of mining other than surface mining.

  • Silver means elemental silver having an atomic weight of 107.869 and the chemical element symbol of Ag, whether found by itself or in combination with its alloys or any other metal.

  • Quarry means a pit, excavation, or other place made by any means for the purpose of removing Construction Materials or a site identified for such purposes, and includes works, machinery, plants, and buildings below or above ground belonging to or used in connection with a Quarry.

  • Mining means the mining, extracting, producing, beneficiating, handling, milling or other processing of Products.

  • Cannabis concentrate means cannabis that has undergone a process to concentrate one or more active cannabinoids, thereby increasing the product’s potency.   • Diatomaceous earth filtration means a process resulting in substantial particulate removal in which (1) a precoat cake of diatomaceous earth filter media is deposited on a support membrane (septum), and (2) while the water is filtered by passing through the cake on the septum, additional filter media known as body feed is continuously added to the feed water to maintain the permeability of the filter cake.

  • Hazing means committing an act against a student, or coercing a student into committing an act, that creates a substantial risk of harm to a person, in order for the student to be initiated into or affiliated with a student organization, or for any other purpose. The term hazing includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sand means and includes ordinary sand, other than sand used for prescribed purposes, along with the stones, boulders, pebbles and gravels accumulated in the riverbed by natural phenomenon. Sand shall be referred to as one of the minor minerals specified at serial no. XXVII in the Gazette of India dated 10th February 2015.
