Normal commute is the round trip distance from a faculty member’s home to the downtown campus locations
Normal commute means the average travel time between an employee’s residence and their normal work location.

Examples of Normal commute in a sentence

  • Normal commute time and mileage between home and work are not compensated.

  • Normal commute time between a telework location and permanent/principal work location is not work time.
