Normal Cubic Meter definition

Normal Cubic Meter means the volume of gas that occupies a cubic meter when this gas is at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a pressure of 1013.25 millibar;
Normal Cubic Meter or “Nm3” shall mean the quantity of Natural Gas which, when absolutely dry, at a temperature of zero degrees Celsius (0° C) and at an absolute pressure of one decimal zero one three two five (1.01325) bar, occupies the volume of one (1) cubic meter.
Normal Cubic Meter. (Ncm) means the volume of dry gas which occupies a cubic meter measured at twenty five degrees Celsius (25o) at an absolute pressure equivalent to seven hundred sixty (760) mm Hg;

Examples of Normal Cubic Meter in a sentence

  • The unit of measurement for volume at the Interconnection Point shall be Normal Cubic Meter at reference conditions.

  • Normal Cubic Meter (m3(n)) shall mean one cubic meter of Natural Gas at ‘normal’ conditions of 273.15K (= 0°C) and 101,325 kPa (= 1.01325 bara).

  • Normal Cubic Meter (m³(n)): quantity of gas which, at zero (0) degrees Celsius and below an absolute pressure of 1.01325 bar, occupies a volume of one (1) cubic meter.

  • For the determination of the Injection Quantity and/or Withdrawal Quantity of storage contracts for which a conversion of Megawatt Hours (MWh) into Normal Cubic Meter (Nm³) (or vice versa) is required, the Calorific Value as actually measured by the relevant network systems operator shall apply.

  • In case of contracts where a conversion of Megawatt Hours (MWh) into Normal Cubic Meter (Nm³) is required to determine the maximum Injection Capacity, Withdrawal Capacity and/or Working Gas Volume, the conversion shall be made by applying a Calorific Value according to article 2 (1) 13 of the Gas-Systemnutzungsentgelte VO 2013 as amended from time to time.
