Novice definition

Novice means an individual in an educational position who has no previous experience in the role of that position or who is newly licensed by the board of educational examiners.
Novice means a Rower or Coxswain whose initial competition within that same discipline has been in the previous 12 months of the date of the Regatta. This definition is advisory only.
