Nursing Facility Room and Board Services definition

Nursing Facility Room and Board Services means those personal care services and items provided by Nursing Facility as specified in the Nursing Facility Plan of Care or the Hospice Plan of Care for a Transitions Hospice Patient, including, but not limited to: providing food (including dietary supplements and individualized requests); assisting in activities of daily living (such as mobility and ambulation, dressing, grooming, bathing, transferring, eating, and toileting), socializing activities, and in the administration of medicine; providing and maintaining the cleanliness of the Transitions Hospice Patient’s room; supervising and assisting in the use of any durable medical equipment and therapies included in the Hospice Plan of Care; providing laundry and personally care supplies; and providing the usual and customary room furnishings provided to Nursing Facility residents, including, but not limited to, bed, linens, lamps, and dressers.
Nursing Facility Room and Board Services means those personal care services provided by Nursing Facility as specified in the Plan of Care for a Resident, including, but not limited to, providing food (including individualized requests); assisting in activities of daily living, social activities, and the administration of medicine; providing and maintaining the cleanliness of the Resident’s room; assisting in the use of any durable medical equipment and therapies included in the Plan of Care; providing laundry and personal care supplies; and providing the usual and customary room furnishings provided to Residents, including, but not limited to beds, linens, lamps, and dressers.
Nursing Facility Room and Board Services means those personal care services provided by NURSING FACILITY as specified in the HOSPICE Plan of Care and/or the NURSING FACILITY Plan of Care for a RESIDENT PATIENT, including, but not limited to: (1) providing food (including individualized requests); (2) Assisting in activities of daily living; (3) Socializing activities; (4) Administration of medicines; (5) Providing and maintaining the cleanliness of the RESIDENT PATIENT’s room; (6) Supervising and assisting in the use of any durable medical equipment and therapies included in the HOSPICE Plan of Care; (7) Providing laundry and personal care supplies; and, (8) Providing the usual and customary room furnishing provided to NURSING FACILITY Residents, including, but not limited to, beds, linens, lamps, and dressers.

  • Each month, or as reasonably requested by Hospice, Nursing Facility will submit to Hospice complete and accurate invoices for Nursing Facility Room and Board Services provided during the preceding month on forms acceptable to both Parties that include information usually provided to third-party payors to verify the services and charges reflected in such xxxxxxxx.

  • Hospice shall not be responsible for reimbursing Nursing Facility for any portion of the cost of Nursing Facility Room and Board Services provided to the Private Pay Resident Patient or Medicare Eligible Resident Patient.

  • Nursing Facility will fully inform Resident Patients of the Nursing Facility Room and Board Services, Other Nursing Facility Services, and Uncovered Items and Services to be provided by Nursing Facility.

  • Purchased Hospice Services do not include those services and supplies that are an ordinary part of Nursing Facility Room and Board Services.

  • Nursing Facility and Hospice shall each prepare and maintain complete, accurate, and detailed clinical records concerning each Resident Patient receiving Nursing Facility Room and Board Services and Hospice Services under this Agreement as required by applicable Medicare and Medicaid program requirements and state law.

  • The QAPI program may include an evaluation of the quality and appropriateness of Nursing Facility Room and Board Services provided pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.

  • In no event will Hospice reimburse Nursing Facility for Nursing Facility Room and Board Services in an amount greater than what Nursing Facility would have received directly from Medicaid had the patient not been enrolled in hospice.

  • Nursing Facility shall bill each Medicare Eligible Resident Patient and Private Pay Resident Patient (or the third-party payor, if applicable), for Nursing Facility Room and Board Services provided and shall accept payment from the applicable payor or Resident Patient as payment in full.

  • Nursing Facility agrees to accept such payment as payment in full for Nursing Facility Room and Board Services provided to such Medicaid Eligible Resident Patient, and will not bill the Medicaid Eligible Resident Patient or any health insurance program for such services.

  • For purposes hereof, “Purchased Hospice Services” means those services that Hospice has contracted with Nursing Facility to provide which are covered by the Hospice, required under the Plan of Care, and which are not otherwise provided by Nursing Facility as part of its Nursing Facility Room and Board Services.

  • Nursing facility means an institution as defined in Iowa Code chapter 135C. This definition does not include acute care settings.

  • Nursing services means the provision of individual-specific advice, plans, or interventions by a nurse at a home based on the nursing process as outlined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Nursing services differ from administrative nursing services.

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program or “VSMP” means a program approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, that has been established by a locality to manage the quality and quantity of runoff resulting from land-disturbing activities and shall include such items as local ordinances, rules, permit requirements, annual standards and specifications, policies and guidelines, technical materials, and requirements for plan review, inspection, enforcement, where authorized in this article, and evaluation consistent with the requirements of this article and associated regulations.

  • water services means water supply services and sanitation services;

  • Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

  • Municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4 means a conveyance or system of conveyances (including roads with drainage systems, municipal streets, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ditches, man-made channels, or storm drains):
