OBD family definition

OBD family means a manufacturer's grouping of vehicles which, through their design, are expected to have similar exhaust emission and OBD system characteristics. Each vehicle of this family shall have complied with the requirements of this Regulation as defined in paragraph 6.8.1.

Examples of OBD family in a sentence

  • For the first sampling period of an OBD family, all of the vehicle types in the family that are approved with IUPR shall be considered to be subject to sampling.

  • For this purpose, Type Approval Authorities may find arrangements with the manufacturer for the reduction of double testing of a given OBD family as long as these arrangements do not harm the dissuasive effect of the Type Approval Authority's own in-service conformity check on non-compliance with the requirements of this paragraph 7.

  • The OBD family may be defined by basic design parameters which shall be common to vehicles within the family.

  • These effects shall also be taken into consideration to ensure that only vehicles with similar exhaust emission characteristics are included within an OBD family.

  • For all other families, the minimum number of vehicles in a sample lot to be sampled is fifteen.Each sample lot shall adequately represent the sales pattern, i.e. at least high volume vehicle types (≥ 20 % of the family total) shall be represented.Vehicles of small series productions with less than 1000 vehicles per OBD family are exempted from minimum IUPR requirements as well as the requirement to demonstrate these to the responsible authority.

  • The OBD family for CoP is the same as the CoP family for Type 1 CoP tests.

  • Brand family means all styles of Cigarettes sold under the same trade mark and differentiated from one another by means of additional modifiers or descriptors, including, but not limited to, “menthol,” “lights,” “kings,” and “100s,” and includes any brand name (alone or in conjunction with any other word), trademark, logo, symbol, motto, selling message, recognizable pattern of colors, or any other indicia of product identification identical or similar to, or identifiable with, a previously known brand of Cigarettes.

  • Multi-Family means a single residential connection to the public water system’s distribution system from which two or more separate dwelling units are supplied water.

  • Birth family or "birth sibling" means the child's biological family or biological sibling.

  • Multi-family housing means a building or structure that is designed to house two (2) or more different households in separate housing Units which have full kitchen facilities including oven/range, refrigerator, kitchen sink with hot and cold water supply and food storage facilities and at least one (1) full bathroom facility(s), one (1) full bedroom and one (1) living area (including a combination thereof such as studio arrangements).

  • Designated family member means any of the following:

  • Multi-family dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate dwelling unit, which is used, or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, in whole, or in part as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Extended Family , in respect of a person, means the person’s grandparent, uncle, aunt, first degree cousin, grandchild, and/or any other relation or relationship that Council may add by law;

  • Xxxxxxx Family means Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxx, Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxx, Xx., Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxx Xxxxxxx and the members of their Families.

  • Extended family member means an adult who is a grandparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, uncle, aunt, or first cousin with whom the child has a relationship and is comfortable, and who is willing and available to care for the child. RCW 13.32A.030

  • Engine family means a manufacturers grouping of engines which, through their design as defined in paragraph 5.2. of this gtr, have similar exhaust emission characteristics; all members of the family shall comply with the applicable emission limit values.

  • Family means with respect to an individual: (i) the individual; (ii) the individual’s spouse and former spouses; (iii) any other natural person who is related to the individual or the individual’s spouse within the second degree; and (iv) any other natural person who resides with such individual.

  • Immediate family means a spouse and any unemancipated child.

  • Marriage and family therapy means the assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders, whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, within the context of marriage and family systems. Marriage and family therapy involves the application of psycho‑therapeutic and family systems theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, and families for the purpose of treating diagnosed emotional, mental, behavioral, or addictive disorders.

  • Close Family Member means a parent, child or sibling who is not an immediate family member.

  • Non-Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Member of the family shall have the meaning prescribed by Code Section 529(e)(2), and shall mean any individual who bears one of the following relationships to the beneficiary:

  • Foster family home means a private home in which children are placed for foster family care under supervision of the cabinet or a licensed child-placing agency;

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Member of the Immediate Family means spouse, parent or stepparent, child or stepchild, brother or sister, stepbrother or stepsister, brother-in- law or sister-in-law, mother-in-law or father-in-law, or son-in-law or daughter-in-law.

  • Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Investor-Owned Residential Loans means Loans, excluding advances made pursuant to Home Equity Loans, that are secured by mortgages on one- to four family residences or stock of cooperative housing associations that are not owner-occupied. These loans can be treated as Restructured Loans on a commercially reasonable basis and can be a restructured under terms separate from the Exhibit 5 standards. Please refer to Exhibit 2b for guidance in Calculation of Loss for Restructured Loans.

  • Immediate Family Members means, with respect to any individual, such individual’s child, stepchild, grandchild or more remote descendant, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, former spouse, qualified domestic partner, sibling, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law and daughter-in-law (including adoptive relationships) and any trust, partnership or other bona fide estate-planning vehicle the only beneficiaries of which are any of the foregoing individuals or any private foundation or fund that is controlled by any of the foregoing individuals or any donor-advised fund of which any such individual is the donor.

  • Family Members means any child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, former spouse, sibling, niece, nephew, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, or sister-in-law (including adoptive relationships) of the Participant, any person sharing the Participant’s household (other than a tenant or employee), a trust in which these persons (or the Participant) have more than 50% of the beneficial interest, a foundation in which these persons (or the Participant) control the management of assets, and any other entity in which these persons (or the Participant) own more than 50% of the voting interests.

  • Product Family means an SAP product family which may comprise of one or several SAP software products or services as further set out in the applicable RSPI.
