Official action means a decision, recommendation, approval, disapproval or other action or failure to act which involves the use of discretionary authority.
Official act or "official action" means a vote, decision, recommendation, approval, disapproval, or other action, including inaction, that involves the use of discretionary authority.
Official proceeding means any proceeding before a legislative, judicial, administrative, or other governmental agency or official authorized to take evidence under oath and includes any proceeding before a referee, hearing examiner, commissioner, notary, or other person taking testimony or a deposition in connection with an official proceeding.
Official Gazette means the Official Gazette of the Government;
Criminal justice agency means (i) a court or any other governmental agency or subunit thereof
Official Image means an electronic image of an Eligible Bill, either created in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement or that otherwise complies with the requirements to permit negotiation and clearing of that Eligible Bill in accordance with the by-laws, standards, and Rules of the Canadian Payments Association.
Official Order means an order issued on the Contractor, whether on paper or by electronic means, which conveys the essential details of a particular service requirement under the Contract and includes any methods of ordering the Services specifically, referred to in the Contract.

Derivative Action means any Action brought by or in the right of the Corporation and/or an Affiliate.
Court Order means any judgment, decision, consent decree, injunction, ruling or order of any federal, state or local court or governmental agency, department or authority that is binding on any person or its property under applicable law.

Official record means the record prepared and maintained by the department for each offender and juvenile received into the physical care and custody of the department. The record shall include, but is not limited to, written, printed, or electronic materials, documents, or data pertaining to services, programs, and all other official actions performed on behalf of that offender or juvenile. These records are identified by the same offender or juvenile name as received on the commitment order, assigned a department number as an identifier, and compiled and maintained as part of an offender/juvenile packet.
