One Call Center means a multimember protection notification center providing a single telephone contact number and designated by the Kentucky Public Service Commission to be the sole recipient of 811 dialed calls through which an excavator may contact all operator one-call center members and all affected operators may receive information to enable them to provide the excavator with the approximate location of underground facilities.

More Definitions of One Call Center

One Call Center means a private provider selected by the commission pursuant to section 269E-5 that provides advance warning to excavators of the location of subsurface installations in the area of an excavation for the purpose of protecting those installations from damage.

  • Access Service means access to a local exchange network for the purpose of enabling a provider to originate or terminate telecommunication services within the local exchange. Except for end-user common line services, access service does not include access service to a person who is not a provider.
