Each Fixed Rate Security bears interest on its Outstanding Principal Amount (or, if it is a Partly Paid Security, the amount paid up) as on the first day of a Fixed Interest Period from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date (as specified in the Issue Terms) to (but excluding) the Maturity Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest, subject to any cessation of interest in circumstances as set out in the terms of the Securities.
