Pay Television Rights definition

Pay Television Rights means the right to communicate the Program to the public by any television service, delivered by any technology now known or discovered in the future, delivered for payment of a fee or subscription, including any television service provided on a scheduled, On Demand, pay per view or any other basis.
Pay Television Rights means: (i) to exploit the Film by means of an uplink broadcast of a coded signal to a satellite and its downlink broadcast to terrestrial satellite reception dishes for viewing on television receivers located in the immediate vicinity of their reception dishes where charges are made to viewers in private living places for use of a decoding device to view a channel that broadcasts the Film along with other programming (but excluding exploitation of the Internet Rights) (the "Satellite Pay Television Rights")
Pay Television Rights means exploitation of the Film by means of Pay Television. "Performance" means the work done by an Artist in the Film.

  • Channels means the standard definition (SD) channel(s)/ high definition (HD) channels, as the case maybe and more specifically listed out by the Broadcaster, along with their Nature, Maximum Retail Price (if any) and respective genre, in Annexure B annexed to this Agreement that are owned/operated by the Broadcaster (including its subsidiary company or holding company or subsidiary of the holding company) ;

  • Mobile means any mobile delivery technology including 3G, 3.5G, 4G, 5G cellular technology, and any subsequent generation technology, edge, DVBH or DMB which is or may be used with radio frequency spectrum in any band, to enable or facilitate transmission of textual material, data, voice, video and/or multimedia service to any device (whether now known or hereafter developed) which is capable of receiving and/or sending voice and/or data and/or video communications by means of a device which is designed primarily as a portable device.

  • Common Channel Signaling (CCS means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.

  • Radio means a system for transmitting sound without visual images, and includes broadcast, cable, on-demand, satellite, or internet programming. Radio includes any audio programming downloaded or streamed via the internet.

  • Broadcaster means a person or a group of persons, or body corporate, or any organization or body who, after having obtained, in its name, downlinking permission for its channels, from the Central Government, is providing programming services;

  • Telecommunications Services means the offering of Telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.
