Peak Demand Period definition

Peak Demand Period means the period from June 1 through September 30, 2018 during the hours from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Peak Demand Period means, typically, the calendar months June, July and August during a given Calendar Year or the periods when, due to weather conditions, system emergencies and/or fire suppression demands, the demand for water from the CAW Service Area is high.
Peak Demand Period means a period of high daily, weekly, or seasonal demand for electricity. For purposes of this chapter, the peak demand period for a load-serving entity shall be determined, or approved, by the commission and shall be determined, or approved, for a local publicly owned electric utility, by its governing body.

More Definitions of Peak Demand Period

Peak Demand Period means the period between 08h00-20h00 hours, Monday through Friday.
Peak Demand Period means each of five or more 24- hour periods (including three consecutive 24-hour periods) designated by Con Edison and occurring during the Winter Season (November through March) in which Applicant’s project(s) must provide Peak Demand Reductions, consistent with the terms outlined in Addendum 2 of this Agreement and the Program Requirements. Peak Demand Periods will typically be the coldest days of the Winter Season, and may include periods when the average daily temperature falls below 0° F.
