Period of Reduced Pay definition

Period of Reduced Pay means a period throughout which:
Period of Reduced Pay means a defined period of reduced remuneration, resulting from an arrangement between an active member and an employer to whom this Plan applies, that qualifies to be recognized as an “eligible period of reduced pay” under section 8500(1) of the Income Tax Regulations made under the Income Tax Act (Canada);

Related to Period of Reduced Pay

  • Regular benefits ’ means benefits payable to an individual under this act or under any other state law, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen pursuant to 5 U.S.C. chapter 85, other than extended benefits.

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.

  • Period of Severance means a continuous period of time during which an Employee is not employed by the Employer. Such period begins on the date the Employee retires, quits or is discharged, or if earlier, the twelve (12) month anniversary of the date on which the Employee was otherwise first absent from service.
