Permit Parking Place definition

Permit Parking Place means a road or any length of road identified in the plans attached to this Order, which is provided by the Council for the leaving of a vehicle under the provisions of this Order, and is indicated by the prescribed traffic signs;
Permit Parking Place means an area on a carriageway designated as a parking place for use by permit holders by Article 92 and Article 93 of this order;
Permit Parking Place means a length of road authorised to be used as a Parking Place by Article 15 of this Order;

  • Save as provided in Article 107 of this order, the driver of a vehicle using a Permit Parking Place shall stop the engine as soon as the vehicle is in position in the Permit Parking Place and shall not start the engine except when about to change the position of the vehicle in, or to depart from, the Permit Parking Place.


More Definitions of Permit Parking Place

Permit Parking Place means an area on a highway designated as a parking place for use by permit holders by Article 12 of this order;
Permit Parking Place means any Parking Place authorised to be used by any of the Orders as a parking place by a vehicle subject to the display of a valid permit in respect of that vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Order but excluding any such Parking Place which is authorised to be used for time limited parking (in addition to permit parking) during such times as time limited parking is permissible;

Permit Parking Place means an area on a highway designated by this Order as a parking place for use by permit holders subject to the provisions of this Order;
Permit Parking Place means an area on a carriageway designated as a parking place for use by way of an order duly made by the Council under the Act of 1984;
Permit Parking Place means any length of road specified in Part B of Schedule 6 to this Order which is authorised to be used as a parking place, subject to the provisions of this Order, by a Permitted Vehicle which displays in the Relevant Position a valid Residents’ Permit, a valid Temporary Permit, a valid Business Permit or a valid Visitors’ Permit;
