Permitted Promotions definition

Permitted Promotions means (i) participating in periodic special promotions of national payment networks (including, for example, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) that reward the use of third party Credit Products bearing the brand of such national payment network at Store Locations, (ii) Retailer’s use of generic store signage indicating the acceptance of Permitted Credit Products, and (iii) providing applications for and information on (x) traditional “lay-away” or “flex pay” plan operated by Retailer; and (y) [*].

Examples of Permitted Promotions in a sentence

  • Nothing in this Schedule 9.1 shall limit or restrict the ability of Retailer to participate in Permitted Promotions; provided that Retailer shall not participate in Permitted Promotions that, in the aggregate, would have a material adverse effect on the Program.

  • Retailer shall use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the Credit Cards are promoted more prominently in the aggregate over time than any other payment product or promotion contemplated under this Schedule 9.1, including for avoidance of doubt, Affiliated Credit Products, Permitted Credit Products, Permitted Promotions and the offering of debit cards.

  • Motorsport Activities means any motorsport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which Motorsport Australia regulates or administers or otherwise are under the responsibility / control of Motorsport Australia;

  • Motor Sport Activities means any motor sport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which CAMS regulates or administers by CAMS or otherwise under the responsibility / control of CAMS;

When used as a verb, “to Co-Promote” means to engage in Co-Promotion, and “Co-Promoted” has a corresponding meaning.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Tourism promotion means activities and expenditures designed to increase tourism, including but not limited to advertising, publicizing, or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of attracting and welcoming tourists; developing strategies to expand tourism; operating tourism promotion agencies; and funding marketing of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists.

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.
