Personal Signature definition

Personal Signature means the actual handwritten signature by the person whose signature is required on the document. Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, a document requiring a Personal Signature may be submitted by: (a) an actual original handwritten “wet ink” signature on hard copy; or (b) a PDF or other electronic image of an actual handwritten signature, but cannot be submitted by an electronic signature within the meaning of the Electronic Records and Signatures in Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 7001, et seq., or the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act, or their successors.
