Petroleum in commercial quantity definition

Petroleum in commercial quantity means petroleum in such quantities which will permit its being economically developed as determined by the contractor after taking into consideration the location of the reserves, the depths and number of wells required to be drilled and the transport and terminal facilities needed to exploit the reserves which have been discovered.

  • Petroleum product means crude oil, petroleum, refined petroleum products, byproducts and intermediate feed stocks, and other energy-related commodities, including, without limitation, blend components commonly used in the petroleum industry to improve characteristics of, or meet governmental or customer specifications for, petroleum or refined petroleum products.
