PHE Alternative Transport definition

PHE Alternative Transport means a medically necessary unscheduled emergency ground ambulance transport of an ET3 Model Beneficiary from the scene of a 9-1-1 emergency response to a Medicare-covered destination identified in 42 C.F.R. § 410.40(f)(5) that is not also identified in 42 C.F.R. § 410.40(f)(1).
PHE Alternative Transport means a medically necessary unscheduled emergency ground ambulance transport of an ET3 Model Beneficiary from the scene of a 9-1-1 emergency response to a Medicare-covered destination identified in 42 C.F.R. § 410.40(f)(5) that is not also identified in 42 C.F.R. § 410.40(f)(1). “Physician or Non-Physician Practitioner” means a physician or non-physician practitioner who meets all State and local laws, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and licensing guidelines or rules to render the particular Covered Service furnished to an ET3 Model Beneficiary as part of a Treatment in Place intervention or following a Transport to an Alternative Destination intervention.

  • Alternative Transaction means the sale, transfer, lease or other disposition, directly or indirectly, including through an asset sale, stock sale, merger or other similar transaction, of all or substantially all of the Purchased Assets in a transaction or a series of transactions with one or more Persons other than Purchaser (or its Affiliates).

  • commercial air transport means an aircraft operation involving the transport of passengers, cargo, or mail for remuneration or hire.

  • the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme means the scheme of that name administered by the Common Services Agency (constituted under section 10 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(b));

  • Bulk gasoline terminal means a gasoline storage facility which receives gasoline from its supply source primarily by pipeline, ship, or barge, and delivers gasoline to bulk gasoline plants or to commercial or retail accounts primarily by tank truck; and has an average daily throughput of more than 76,000 liters (20,000 gallons) of gasoline.

"Alternative nicotine product" does not include any nicotine vapor product, tobacco product, or product regulated as a drug or device by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under Chapter V (21

  • Dry cleaning fluid means any non-aqueous liquid product designed and labeled exclusively for use on: fabrics which are labeled "for dry clean only", such as clothing or drapery; or S-coded fabrics. Dry cleaning fluid includes, but is not limited to, those products used by commercial dry cleaners and commercial businesses that clean fabrics such as draperies at the customer's residence or work place. Dry cleaning fluid does not include spot remover or carpet and upholstery cleaner. For the purposes of this definition, S-coded fabric means an upholstery fabric designed to be cleaned only with water-free spot cleaning products as specified by the Joint Industry Fabric Standards Committee.

  • Aerosol cooking spray means any aerosol product designed either to reduce sticking on cooking and baking surfaces or to be applied on food, or both.

  • Pump spray means a packaging system in which the product ingredients within the container are not under pressure and in which the product is expelled only while a pumping action is applied to a button, trigger or other actuator.

  • Least restrictive alternative means the treatment and conditions of treatment which, separately and in combination, are no more intrusive or restrictive of freedom than reasonably necessary to achieve a substantial therapeutic benefit to the minor, or to protect the minor or others from physical injury;

  • Active treatment means the implementation of an individualized care plan developed under and supervised by a physician and other qualified mental health professionals that prescribes specific therapies and activities.

  • Secondary dose monitoring system means a system which will terminate irradiation in the event of failure of the primary dose monitoring system.

  • Fugitive dust emissions means particulate matter from process operations that does not pass through a process stack or vent and that is generated within plant property boundaries from activities such as: unloading and loading areas, process areas, stockpiles, stock pile working, plant parking lots, and plant roads (including access roads and haul roads).
