Examples of Physical Settlement Adjustment in a sentence
The Notice of Physical Settlement shall specify Deliverable Obligations having an Outstanding Amount (or the equivalent specified Currency Amount converted at the Currency Rate) on the Settlement Valuation Date at least equal to the Reference Entity Notional Amount (or, as applicable, Exercise Amount), subject to any Physical Settlement Adjustment.
In relation to Credit Linked Securities (other than Leveraged CLSs), the Notice of Physical Settlement shall specify Deliverable Obligations having an Outstanding Amount (or the equivalent specified Currency Amount converted at the Currency Rate) on the Settlement Valuation Date equal to the Floating Rate Payer Calculation Amount (or, as applicable, Exercise Amount), subject to any Physical Settlement Adjustment.
Physical Settlement Adjustment Rounding Amount means an amount (if any) equal to the difference between the absolute value of the Physical Settlement Adjustment and the liquidation value of such whole number of Deliverable Obligations as are not required to be Delivered by the relevant Issuer by way of compensation for any Hedge Amount.
The Acceleration Delivery Amount is calculated as follows: (a) the Aggregate Reference Asset Nominal Amount minus the Physical Settlement Adjustment Amount (b) divided by the number of units of the Securities.
Where the applicable Final Terms specify that Hedge Amount is not applicable, the Physical Settlement Adjustment shall be zero.
Thus, the Acceleration Delivery Amount may be significantly reduced by the Physical Settlement Adjustment Amount accounting for any costs including the transaction costs and any prepayment indemnity incurred by unwinding any swaps and hedging transactions which may have been entered into in connection with the Securities, including (but not limited to) any currency hedging transactions, interest rate swap transactions, or asset swap transactions.
