Place of Origin definition

Place of Origin means the starting point / place from where the Insured’s Trip is scheduled to be undertaken through a Common Carrier.
Place of Origin means, in the case of manufactured food, the place of manufacture and in any other case the place of production;
Place of Origin means the place where the Journey commences. Regardless of the ordinary place of residence or the place of regular employment of an Insured Person, the Place of Origin of the Insured Person must be Hong Kong unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing.

  • These transportation expenses would be limited to transporting the Insured from the place of loss to the nearest appropriate medical facility or to the Place of Origin or to the City of Residence of the Insured, whichever is nearer provided that the such cost are certified and authorized by the attending medical practitioner and/or the Company and Company’s liability does not exceed the Sum Insured or sub- limit specified in the policy certificate.

  • Perils as specified in the Policy Schedule/ Certificate of Insurance provided that the peril takes place prior to the commencement of the Period of Insurance at or in the vicinity of the Place of Origin of the journey, the ultimate scheduled Place of Destination or any intermediate place which is involved in or related to the proposed journey.

  • Goods supplied under this Contract will, at the time of the supply, conform to the standards mentioned in the Specifications, and, when no applicable standard is mentioned, to the latest authoritative standards of the relevant institution of the Goods’ Place of Origin, USAID or to EU Standards or Kosovo Standards, whichever of the three consist of higher standards.

  • If the Insured Person’s application for a visa for a covered trip is rejected on arrival or before travel or Entry into the Place of Origin is denied by the issuing authorities or the visa arrival is delayed over the expected days of visa arrival then, We shall indemnify the costs incurred by the Insured Person towards fees for the applied visa up to the limit as specified in the Policy Schedule / Certificate of Insurance.

  • We shall indemnify the Insured Person for the expenses incurred by him/ her towards any non- refundable expenses or reasonable additional expenses, the amount specified in the Policy Schedule/Certificate for the accommodation in the city of scheduled embarkation or next scheduled port or reasonable additional expenses for transportation cost to return to Place of Origin, or any other Port in India/ Country of Origin due to cancellation of cruise due to perils given below.

Place of Origin means the original location(s) of the Freight to be transported as part of the Work pursuant to the Contract.
