Portal Entity definition

Portal Entity means: the State agency or other State body designated by each SARA Member State to carry out SARA responsibilities for the state and to serve as the interstate point of contact for SARA questions, Complaints and other communications.

  • Appealing institutions must submit a notice of intent to appeal in writing to the State Portal Entity within 7 days after receiving notice of the adverse decision.
