Prescription Medications definition

Prescription Medications means any substance obtained directly from or pursuant to a valid prescription or order of a practitioner, as defined in 16 Del.C. §4701(24), while acting in the course of his or her professional practice, and which is specifically intended for the student in whose possession it is found.

Examples of Prescription Medications in a sentence

  • This means that a medication-specific quantity limit may apply to Prescription Medications that have an increased potential for over-utilization or an increased potential for a Member to experience an adverse effect at higher doses.

  • Retail Prescription Medications may be covered when accompanied by a prescription from your Attending Physician, subject to the cost-sharing shown in the Schedule of Benefits.
