For a President’s or Chancellor’s spouse, significant other or guest, host account funds may be used to pay transportation, lodging, and meal expenses (in accordance with the standard reimbursement rates) when she or he by reason of a personal relationship is expected to accompany the President or Chancellor to events outside a 50-mile radius from home for the purpose of assisting the President/Chancellor in representing the institution/system.
The President or Chancellor may terminate the employment of an administrative officer of the College when in their judgment the interest of the System or of the College requires termination.
Notice of an extension shall be in writing by the President or Chancellor, as applicable, to the employee before the expiration of the sixty (60) day period and shall set forth the exceptional circumstances and the date of anticipated completion.
When such grievance is filed by the Union, earlier steps of the grievance procedure shall be unnecessary, but in all other respects the grievance procedures above described shall apply to Union-filed grievances, except that written answers made by the College President or Chancellor need be served only upon the Union.
Nothing herein shall interfere with or alter the right of the Board of Trustees, President or Chancellor to select, evaluate, and determine the employment status of the Xxxxxxx and Vice Chancellor, provided that the Chancellor will review the most recent written evaluations, if any, submitted as provided above in connection with the evaluation and/or the making of recommendations or determinations concerning the employment status of the Xxxxxxx.
If approved by the College President (or Chancellor where appropriate) and the principal Human Resources Officer, or designee, the material will be removed.
A request for a Lump Sum Bonus may be denied by the Dean/Director, Vice President or Chancellor, Chief Executive Officer, or campus Human Resources Director.
Exceptions to this policy must have the prior written approval of the employing authority (defined as the President or Chancellor, as the case may be), along with a written agreement detailing the manner in which conflicts of interest will be ameliorated.
This authority may not be delegated except when the President or Chancellor is absent due to business travel, vacation, illness, or other leave.
The Final Evaluation (Appendix A-3, Part VI) will be discussed with the evaluatee who will have an opportunity to provide written comment before the evaluation is forwarded to the President or Chancellor.
