Privacy Regulations definition

Privacy Regulations means the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 as amended in 2004, 2011, 2015 and 2016 and as may be further amended from time to time;
Privacy Regulations means the following, as well as similar statutes and regulations, as they currently exist and as amended, associated with the confidentiality, access, control, and use of personally identifiable, non-public information including, but not limited to:

  • Covered Entity shall not request Business Associate to use or disclose Protected Health Information in any manner that would not be permissible under the Privacy Regulations if done by Covered Entity.

  • The parties will promptly report any use or disclosure of a patient’s Protected Health Information not provided for by this Agreement, or in violation of HIPAA, the Federal Privacy Regulations, or the Federal Security Regulations of which parties become aware.

  • Except as otherwise limited in this Agreement, Business Associate may use or disclose Protected Health Information to perform functions, activities, or services for, or on behalf of, Covered Entity pursuant to the underlying service agreement between the parties, provided that such use or disclosure would not violate the Privacy Regulations if done by Covered Entity or the minimum necessary policies and procedures of the Covered Entity.


More Definitions of Privacy Regulations

Privacy Regulations means the regulations promulgated under Section 504 of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Act, Pub. L. 106-102, as such regulations may be amended from time to time.
Privacy Regulations means the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information at 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164, Subparts A and E, as may be amended, modified or superseded, from time to time.

Privacy Regulations has the meaning set forth in Section 14.14.
Privacy Regulations means the rules set forth primarily at 45 C.F.R. Part 160 and Part 164, Subparts A and E.
Privacy Regulations is defined in Section 11.5.
Privacy Regulations means the rules set forth primarily at Subparts A and E of Part 164 of Title 45 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
